My Bathroom's not very big so it only takes about an hour per coat. The living room's next and i expect it'll take me loads longer.

Because when you meet the unattached man of your dreams, you want to (eventually, when you are married, of course) show him a tidy bedroom.
Of course :D I wouldn't dream of letting anyone cross the threshold until the deal was done - signed, sealed and the joint bank account opened ;):p

I haven't heard from Sandy, but assumed that she was dealing with the consequences of the chemo, and possibly going home today too. I'll text later and ask her to just let us know how she is.

Hope today hasn't been too difficult for you (((hugs)))

OH is driving tonight so i don't have to pick him up at stupid o clock.:j I wouldn't have minded if it was more local but i didn't fancy driving somewhere i'd never driven before on my own at that time of night.

Almost time for Dr Who, i'm so excited, possibly slightly more than Ds2.:o

Soappie - linking the sound of the 3-bird roast :T What time are you expecting us for dinner - DS and I have made a pineapple and cream sponge cake, so we can bring that to share :D

Those 5 beautiful girls we got yesterday have laid us 5 of the deepest brown eggs you ever did see, so the cake is a lovely deep yellow :T

Done lots in the garden, but we're now rained off :( Doing some paperwork before settling down with pizza, wine and the New Doctor :j:j:j

See you all later, Penny. x

It must be a really tough day for you. Hope you are coping ok and that you have somebody to talk to whenever you feel like it. Sending you huge hugs.

I watched the last half hour or so of 'Howl's moving castle' with DSs and all three of us loved it. DS1 was so patient, explaining all the characters to DS2. I also finally woke up properly and hoovered the stairs (with small landings at top and bottom), cleared all shoes away, tidied most of the LR floor and put 3 adverts in the admag. I know it's not much, but at least I made a start. I can't do anything else in the LR now until DH has gone out, so I'll carry on in the kitchen while I do tea. I normally enjoy cooking, but I'm really not in the mood for it. If I start with putting the rest of the shopping away, I might feel a bit more like it.

Mrs Chaos - Howls Moving Castle is one of my all time top ten favourite books but I haven't seen the cartoon version. Have you read the book as well? None of the reviewers on Amazon seem to have read the book.

Penny - what breed are the new hens? Mine are Copper Marans so our eggs are deep brown, but someone at work has lovely blue eggs and I have major egg envy :p.

Lady Liberty - huge hugs for you, it must be very difficult especially with your own situation
