Don't! Try and do nothing, I have for a week now and I feel much better. I am mostly just doing the dailies and the odd half an hour on the playroom declutter. I haven't had a solid fortnight off for years.

Wish I could! I've only got this fortnight to get the house a bit more on track, spend time with kids and get prepared for work. The next half-term is going to be an absolute killer, with everything we've got going on in school. Both boys' birthdays, too. I'll just have to pace myself and do what I can (and get my behind off this sofa!).
Ok so I live in South Wales.........................the first person who lives near to me and who will see my parents tomorrow instead of me................gets a clean house!
    LOL!

Can manage all your 'demands', but I'll add myself at the bottom of the list - it will take you a while to work your way up towards the North, I guess.

greenbee~~ I'd be happy to pop down to you, on the 17th April if you want, I might have some spare plants etc from the greenhouse as well, just let me know :j

MissA ~~ sounds like you have had a busy time, I bet toot's messy church didn't know what had arrived with you and W, what colour is your bonnet?

Just watching the boat race lead up, some of those 'students' are 25 to 27 years old, which is not what I know as a student, and it seems very commercial this time.

now that is very tempting... but I still won't have a proper garden then :o - my parents are arriving that weekend to turf the lawn and sort out the beds (shed is arriving on the 21st, and then my cousin is going to help my dad demolish the old one and break up the base). I have a feeling that the garden will probably be finished in time for next year :p

They always have been - lots of postgrads (frequently from the US where they were on sports scholarships) get places to do things like land economy or SPS/PPE and just happen to be good at rowing ;) Even the really good undergrads rarely make it to the blue boat and have to make do with places in Goldie/Isis, so that's really the race to watch...

Making very, very slow progress on the bedroom... I am so not motivated :( Why can't I just sit on the sofa and eat chocolate??

    Afternoon all.

I'm doing a marathon catch-up with Fred while Mr LW does his WiiFit+ exercises. I haven't been online since just before the Visualisation Thursday evening.

I think I may have put rather a lot of myself into that, as I was no use to man nor beast yesterday, and am still pretty well exhausted - hope I can get my act together before this evening, as we have tickets for Tosca at MK Theatre.:)

I do hope Sandy's doing as well as possible given the circumstances; and everyone else with ongoing health issues.
LW - would you fancy meeting up in late May/early June - I'd pick you up and take you and bring you back it you wanted to as we both live in the same place. Go on, it would be lovely to meet up
I'd like to try; it'd need to be a weekend so that Mr LW could come along - I never go anywhere without him, as I have severe social phobia, and am prone to panic attacks. I showed him your post a few minutes ago, and he'd be happy to do that, if everyone else doesn't mind a "Flylad" along (I can call him that as he's so good at housework LOL).
We're away from 18th to 25th June, btw.

We're looking forward to Pip and Pandora arriving tomorrow - I must take some pics while they're here; I also need to make some room in the kitchen for two dog-beds! Luckily our kitchen table folds down, as do the two chairs we have in there; and the trolley can live in the spare room for the duration. I probably won't be claiming stars next week - if I can just keep Level 1 done, I'll be satisfied, as the little woofers' needs come first.:)

Also, I was sorry to learn of the demise of Poohbear's and Juliejim's furbabies.:(

Mumof2 I hope the BD has let up a bit today.

Well, I must go and start looking at doing our dins; need to eat soon, as we have to change, and get into the Theatre District early enough to get a disabled parking space.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

me please! I love crispie cakes so we rarely have them.

We have a turkey crown in the oven and it smells wonderful. We had a bit of good news today so celebrating with turkey and a bottle of very good red that was FILs favourite.

Mr. T have just delivered the household stuff for the month and I have put it away with the voluntary assistance of DSs :T. DS1 has just got dressed .
