I like doing stuff for work at night, too. I usually get a second wind at around 10pm (often after a little nap) and work until around 1am. I've also started to get up early and spend some time on the laptop before getting the kids up. Unfortunately, the late nights and early mornings don't mix well. Also, my best time for flying is between 8am and lunch time, when I'm at work. Maybe I need to change jobs. :(
If I'm sneaky (and don't tell my boss) I can have my early start for the gym, come home and fly in the morning, do client calls in the afternoon, go for a walk/run late afternoon and then do my real work late at night. That's as long as I don't have to go into the office...
1step - you're supposed to ask in bold, big letters and celebrate your achievements! :T :T Well done!

Now - could you come and do my hovel? :rotfl: :rotfl:
    And mine too please :D:D

Shopping done... couldn't be bothered with clothes shopping, although there is some nice stuff about, I might wait till I've lost the next half stone... I also desparately need boots rather than shoes (flattish, one pair black, one pair brown) and of course there isn't a pair to be seen in any shop :( Never mind. Might brave more shops tomorrow or Monday morning depending on when I go to the gym

And mine, please. I'm beginning to think that holidays just aren't good for me. It's Day 2 and I still feel permanently tired. Must try harder.
Last bits of shopping done, including eggs, and I also bought a free-ads paper to widen the search for a playhouse.
Lunch made and decluttered - DS2 did really well with his. Time for a powernap, I think. Then a coffee and I should be ready to fly.
  • Hiya guys!

I did post in great big red letters............yesterday afternoon but I think it may have got missed, as Greenbee was updating us all about poor Sandy. How is she today?

For those flyladies who would like me to do their hovels.......................it would probably be easier for me to do yours as I am so ruthless! My terms and conditions are as follows:

    I do the following:
    I like lots of coffee
Any pets must join me on dedicated coffee breaks
1 large umbrella so I can have a ciggie break outside without getting wet
    Did I mention the coffee?

I do not do the following:
    cook
    clean up small children
engage in anything pink or glittery

Think that more or less covers it! LOL

    1 step
If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
    I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome! :p

MrsChaos not out of turn at all. It's really driving me mad, I did ask him and he said he forgot it was a long weekend and his reason was a work colleague. When I reminded him of his earlier awareness of the easter weekend he apologised and gave me his debit card. My concern is that he's scared of the baby. Although we already have DS, he wasn't around for the pregnancy or newborn stage. He doesnt cope well with getting up with DS on the odd occasion its needed and I think he wonders if I will expect him to get up with me every two hours. I guess all I can do for now is wait and see.
Polkadot I notice DH's drinking much more when I'm pregnant, drunk people are soooo boring to be around when you're sober. Tell your DH if you like, what happened to DH, he was drinking a lot the Friday night, and got up Saturday and promptly collapsed twice. Talk to him about the baby, there's no point in you worrying yourself over it, talk to him.

That BD is back biting my bum - why can't it leave me alone? Feel like running away and even told DH I should move back to my old house I rent and he could stay here with the kids. I know it's stupid talk but I can't help myself. Feel so alone.
Dusty had some good suggestions, I've been pretty free of the naughty woofer, but evenings, when I'm tired, it sneaks up sometimes.

    I do the following:
I like lots of coffee - I could buy some
Any pets must join me on dedicated coffee breaks - don't have any at the moment but am thinking of getting a rat or 2
1 large umbrella so I can have a ciggie break outside without getting wet - again, I could buy one
Did I mention the coffee? yep

I do not do the following:
    cook - fair enough
clean up small children - none here
engage in anything pink or glittery - not a problem, I definitely don't do pink or glittery either

Think that more or less covers it! LOL

Should work a treat then!! :rotfl:

Don't! Try and do nothing, I have for a week now and I feel much better. I am mostly just doing the dailies and the odd half an hour on the playroom declutter. I haven't had a solid fortnight off for years.

I have potted on some seedlings and planted some more seeds. DH is tidying the garage :T

  • LOL! you sound like me!:rotfl: I quite like rats, they are very intelligent.

This is a great idea - what conditions would other flyladies set?

Be back after cleaning 2 fishtanks...........got to do one carefully as a plec is laying eggs. She has no idea her partner is in the other tank.................and the dogs are grumbling cos they want a walk.

The cat is ignoring me cos I "let" the dogs eat her food.......................:rotfl:

    I'm such a cruel fur-mum..........

polkadot, Thanks for the poem, I am sending a link to DD.

mumof2 How about taking some time out for yourself. Sometimes it helps me. Other times I go and soak in the bath and sometimes that works. I am lucky now as DD lives nearby so I can go to her house and doing something different helps a bit.
