Evening everyone. We ran out of bananas, so I called in at the Co-op on the way home from work and bought some and got a nice piece of mature cheddar on offer (£1.65 for 250gms) and Muller corner yogourts snack size -8 for £1.40. I love these but can't get them in Sainsbury's where I do my main shopping. They are less fattening than the normal size too! So total spend was £4.39. have updated my signature. Off to bed now - long day tomorrow - working 8.30 till 7pm!

Just a quick post to add a spend of £18.30 yesterday on essentials. I'm doing the weekly shop in my lunch hour this week to see if me physically having to carry the stuff home on foot will make me spend less. :) I'm off to update my sig now.

I've been looking for lovely ice cream....for the grand total of about £2 I have made a litre of pure natural hm icecream....
Any chance of the recipe please? But then again, I'm not sure there is room in the freezer :o Anyone else find that once they've got a bag of oven chips, some frozen veg & the standby burgulars in there, there's little room for anything else :undecided I'm still working on where a chest freezer could stand..maybe the Offspring could move out into the shed & I can use their bedrooms for my store-cupboards :rotfl:The size of the rooms--you'd think they already WERE cupboards :(
A spend of £21:23 & that included yet more of the lovely big-church, big-town cheese we've grown very fond of & thankfully appears to always be on promotion somewhere!I swear the kids will eat a full 400g each every week if I could afford to do it.

another 36, which is going to make the rest of the month tight but i'm determined to hit my target. unfortunately the first two shops of the month had to be over £50 each in order to make use of my special necter vouchers which started the month off on an expensive not but i used those shops to fill the freezer and store cupboard so that should have a positive knock on affect on the next few months.

Spent £46.39 last week, so over again by £6.39. This is not good and I must do better this week.
