Ended up spending about £40 this afternoon at Morrisons, Iceland & Farm foods. This did include £5.36 on four half price "klip & lock" tupperware containers which although not strictly grocery, I shall leave in for now. Going to have to slow down a bit for the rest of the month now.

Just had my mr S shop delivered. For some reason they substituted a pack of cookies, with 11 packs of another cookie type!!! Unfourantely I didn't realised until the guy had left that they hadn't given me the 11 packs, but had charged me for them! That will teach me not to check through my bags before the guy leaves :( It's my own fault for being ditsy. Obviously not having much luck with online shopping as got charged twice for my last order at mr A, but that has now been refunded. Anyway have now spent a grand total of £63.77 of my budget, so doing ok.

6 days into April and still on the grand total of ZERO! Mainly because my wages havent cleared yet due to the long bank holiday, so the meals are getting stranger and stranger round here :) We have run out of virtually everything so its gonna sadly be a large spend when I do get paid.
I was thinking of doing an online shop, but from various comments on here recently I'm a bit put off! Will have to be very strict about sticking to my list instead xx

Just phone Tesco up and tell them (number on top of your bill from driver) they are really helpful and refund without question :D

Just put in my Tesco order for tomorrow (don't know price yet) and spent £15 in co-op on stuff on offer that I wanted, plus bread and milk. Also £17.50 on a curry for and DH but not including that as it's our first wedding anniversary today :j

    Evening all ;)

Have updated signature and am quite pleased with having spent so little. Had 2 spends over the last 7 days which total £25.68. This means I managed 5 no spend days which is nothing short of a miracle :D

Just hope the rest of the month goes as well.

So much for my challenge of no more groceries till next week, i've been spending again already.

It all started when the office requested i baked a cake, i only needed 3 carrots & an orange, rest of stuff in storecupboard already, so figured that wouldn't hurt my budget much. Problem was i got some fab whoopsies, so bill came out at just over £10.

Must cook all my whoopsies into meals tomorrow & my new challenge is now to only spend the £6 i have in luncheon vouchers on next weeks fresh stuff to make up for it.... hope you guys have faith in me cos i'm not as sure as i'd like to be!!

I've been looking for lovely ice cream but as an avid label reader I can't bring myself to buy cheap stuff and even the premium own brands are full of rubbish - s for the grand total of about £2 I have made a litre of pure natural hm icecream. Ok so its not cheap exactly but better than £4 for half that and I'm trying t keep room in the budget for a few treats.

Had to return some mouldy cheese to Asda last night and managed to only spend 74p while I was there!
