Big one of these:grouphug: for Shez and another for Lilibet:grouphug:

Been to the farmshop with the kids, the first English apples are here:j My farmshop is primarily a fruitgrower and they sell their own apples from August till April. The first Discovery apples have been picked- £1.40 for 4 lb (bought 8lbs). Also got greengages and lots of other lovely local produce.

kazonline - i'd be interested to hear else you have tried - i wont think your barking mad.

Ok, here goes.... I used to go to a 'Spiritual healer'. By that stage I was physically unable to push a vacum cleaner around the room and slept almost all day and night and so was desperate to try anything that might help. It certainly helped - and for those who are 'shy' the nice thing is you remain clothed and the healer doesn't actually 'touch' you. It was an amazing experience and I had several treatments and would 100% recommend it. However if anyone would like to try it I would advise going through NFSH (national federation of Spiritual Healers) - as we all know there are far too many 'cowboys' out there!

kaz - i dont think thats silly, i like all that kindathing. I havent had spiritual healing, but had crystal reiki once and that was amazing. I had a problem with my feet for abt 2yrs, went to doc, then hospital foot specialists, got given specially made insoles to balance my posture cos that what they said was wrong (maybe due to pregnancy) anyway, had reiki and within a few days it went!!!! hasnt come back since - strange but true i kid you not.

you mentioning this kaz has suddenly given me a jolt as to what to do with my "problem at home" thanks.

    Happy Birthday Tootles,

I've not managed to read most of the thread yet - I'll get back to it when I can so apologies if I miss anything important.

Both DH and DD work in London so it's quite scary when there's an alert like this and DH flies quite a lot, just have to trust that everything will be all right.

Ok I've got a dilemma - it's our wedding anniversary tomorrow (27years) and I think DH has forgotten, should I give him a hint tonight or should I just tell him tomorrow and let him grovel? TBH we usually go out for a meal to celebrate but we can't really afford it this month so maybe I should just let it slide.

Glad it's helped Shez. I had some 'reiki' just before the school hols - it was amazing even though it was only a 'taster'. I would love to go back to my healer, but I'm not sure that she treats people anymore. I have tried to reach her, but no joy. Mind, I did only try once! lol - typical me :D

I'm planning on doing a holistic therapy course in September - but funnily enough was wondering this morning if I should leave it another year as I'm enjoying my newfound hobby of doing OS things so much (baking/growing vege/making pressies etc) Still undecided - but I think you might be right about the full moon thing Shez - I feel bloomin awfull today, and have also had a really shirty email from someone who seems to be suffering the same ;)

Drop a hint - is it better to have to fake miserable and him feel bad tomorrow, or the two of you have chance to mark how much you've come through/love each other?
I used to opt for the 'sulk' route - and now I'm diviorced :rotfl:

Hope you have a lovely day tomorrow :D

true. im having DH problems, dont want to give in, but in the end i think what does it matter who makes first move - if it sorts the problem out and improves the bigger picture then so be it - at least i know ive given it my best shot come what may.
