I'm a Pukka Pad addict too:D I buy those big A4 ones and make endless lists in them whilst watching TV. I make lists of what I should keep in my storecupboards, fridge, freezer, meal ideas, menu plans, diet plans (which I never follow). I'm a bit mad I think:o
But I know you lot are too:rolleyes:

I'm setting up a paper copy of our budget (using the excel spreadsheet from here as a guide) in one section. Another will be storecupboard info come menu planning. Erm... Christmas notes in another. That will leave me with 2 spare which no-doubt will end up being used :rotfl: I'm one for making lists but have too many notebooks so I'm hoping this will corral (sp?) all of them together into one place.
I've just used the calender to write up my holidaygrandplan and christmas countdown info (start dates of various weeks so I can follow them on the appropriate websites) and I've included pay days for OH, birthdays and school holidays. I'm hoping to be a bit better organised in a paper way rather than having everything buzzing around in my head.Should really get on with it.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hi everyone
We're off on hols in the morning until 20th, we're cycling part of the west coast of Ireland - the Dingle peninsula. Something like 220 miles in total I think so I expect I'll come back a mere shadow of the woman I am today(assuming I manage to stay off the chips & Guinness). It isn't everyone's idea of an ideal holiday but I LOVE it. It's the 3rd time we've cycled in Ireland & it's one of my favouritest places.
I hope everything goes well for everyone whilst I'm away, I'll miss reading about what you're all up to.
See you all soon.

Lucie wrote:Antigua about 2 weeks after 9/11 & it took hours to get through the airport. According to the radio you are only being allowed to take essential medication, baby food & your travel documents on board as hand luggage. I hope it doesn't affect taurusgb too much, as she was asking yesterday about what to take on a flight to Canada.

Thanks everyone:A:T, I know you are all quite correct but my big worry is that we simply can't afford for me to fall off the OS wagon & we especially can't afford for me to !!!! up the budget. I knew what we were taking on & how hard it would be when I gave up work & it is my responsibility to keep us on track. I know that not making my own bread & yogurt won't be the things which break us, but they are symptomatic of the whole situation.
Kaz, I don't think you're barking at all. I spent quite a lot on hypnotherapy about 18 months ago for my insomnia & it did help (although not cure), I would certainly consider something like holistic therapy but just cannot afford it unfortunately.
I have treated myself to a hours' sooze (after a big bar of chocolate) this afternoon but now I'm off to tackle the online bank accounts:eek: Wish me luck!!!
(((hugs))) to Shez. go on, drop a hint;)

They will probably have extra entertainment stuff, eg puzzles etc, on the flight to keep kids entertained. Believe me, they won't want a flight full of bored kids! Maybe take a look at the AA website, isn't that supposed to have ideas for games suitbable whilst you are driving, some might work on a plane? And it might be no hand luggage, but you can probably fit a paperback in your pocket? Get one from a charity shop so that if they make you leave it behind it won't have cost much.
OK, I really am going to do the online banking now...........:rolleyes:Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
