Just in case you decide it's tea & sympathy :grouphug:
Please stop being so hard on yourself, it sounds to me as if you're really run down at the moment. You have a home & partner & a small child to look after & I'm willing to bet that they come first in your list of priorities. You're not Superwoman. Start by tackling one thing at once, so what that you haven't made bread or yoghurt? Millions of women have NEVER done these things. Have you tried asking your doctor for help?
I hope I don't sound as if I'm telling you off - I don't mean to it's just that I think as a gender we women tend to beat ourselves up about our 'failures' & forget to celebrate our successes.0 -
Bargain_Rzl wrote:... And as regards the terrorist threat ... Am I the only person who doesn't worry about it at all?
Hi, Rzl!
No, shouldn't think so. We have to keep these issues in perspective. Compared to road travel, air and rail are very safe. Around 10 people die on the roads each and every day, but there are few calls to reduce speed limits, and implement other safety improvement measures.
If we followed every food scare, we'd eat nothing!
You seem to be a pretty calm, level person. You're taking your house move in your stride, so it's possibly something in your makeup! Lucky you!

No Rzl, I don't worry about it either. If your time is up, it's up and that is that. I don't really see the point in worrying about something you can't change. That's not to say I'm not concerned about those it will/may affect, its just that I don't personalise it.
Have a good day at Gulliver's world TM & Nels. Let me know what its like and if it is suitable for a 10-yr old and a 7-yr old. Not too worried about the 7yo but will the 10yo think its too young?
Re:the Lancs/Yorks debate, I'm a Lancashire lass through and through and my OH is a Yorkshireman. We go through this debate regularly, with me giving him all the 'short arms, deep pockets' stuff! As he is originally from Hull he usually responds with "Shurrup or al brae yer ed in!" (Roughly translates as "Please desist or I may become aggressive!") All good fun!
Have a good day all.
Letters posted, 1st load on washing line (keeping a close eye on the weather), 2nd load in WM, sink still to be shined, ironing pile still glaring at me.
I have just had a wander round the 'estate' and harvested four massive courgettes/borderline marrows. I had courgette and rosemary soup in a restaurant recently and think I'll give that a try later. Will let you know how it goes.Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90
