Morning All,
I've done sod all today and did sod all yesterday too . Am potty training DS(just turned 3) so everything else has had to go by the wayside whilst I spend every 15 mins asking if he needs to potty-it can get a bit boring I can tell you. On a postive note though he's doing REALLY well. I've been using the Gina Ford book which I used for DD when she was 2,she was trained in just 2 days. I've been told boys are a bit lazy and so to train them later(?)
I am just having brekkie, porridge with peaches and a coffee and after that I'm going to have to tackle to house a bit as its in an awful state. I've got the DW and WM on but thats it.
Hope you all have a lovely day, hugs to all in need.

We have started using that cd, very relaxing but a bit too relaxing in oh's case, he is snoring his head off within the first 5 mins! :rotfl:Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Good Morning Everyone! Thought I'd join you again for my 2nd day here! Felt v inspired last night and tidied my side of the bed which means I can see the floor again! Also sorted loads of paperwork and bills out and filed them away, so making the computer desk a bit tidier!!
However, am annoyed with myself as I didn't make a loaf of bread yesterday and so am having to by a sandwich at lunchtime. But I've got the machine out so to remind me tonight to make a lovely loaf!
Off to the library at lunchtime so as to slow down the spending!
Good Luck to everyone today who is doing the housework and de-cluttering! One day I'll get round to it all!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109

Morning all ... well it's been a long night and definitely one lacking in Zed's!
After blood donating last night I retired to bed at an obscenely early hour for myself, and missed all sorts on the Daily Thread last night by the looks of it! I went to sleep at 22:00 ... unfortunately DD was up from 23:00 until 02:00 ... "sore ear" ..... ho hum, another ear infection, so that's where we've been this morning .. off to the Docs. Which was useful as DD has suffered from dry skin / excema since she was born, and in this recent heat has been suffering badly, so we've just got some stuff to try on her. Fingers crossed, as currently I can't take her swimming because the chlorine really affects her.
OS wise ... hmmm ... not sure, except I am determined to get out the sewing machine and overlocker this afternoon and fix a couple of things which have been lurking for way too long! Also, I saw that it is a 10p listing day on eBay tomorrow and Thursday and I've still got a stack of nappies to sell.
MimiF - Way to go, what a result!!!
Shez - Blueberry muffins, hmmm ... yum .....
Right off to play cars with DD who is looking decidedly cheerful for someone who has had little sleep!!

Kaz, no date for the move yet ... it's pretty much out of my hands at the moment ... HA have received my acceptance letter and holding deposit ... Solicitors have received my instruction and ID documents and have cashed my deposit for legal costs ... Mortgage and insurance applications have gone in ... Think the solic's are currently waiting for all the info from the HA (which they should receive this week, as the HA received my acceptance on Monday) ... I pretty much just have to wait for further news at the mo ... am expecting a call from the underwriter tomorrow evening re. the mortgage insurance ... If I haven't heard anything more about either the mortgage or the conveyancing by this time next week, I'll be phoning around for an update ... Between you and me (and the rest of OS
), the ideal time to exchange would be around the second week in Sept ... this is because if I exchange within 6 weeks of when the HA write to the solic's, I get a cash incentive, but if I exchange TOO early then my new budget will wipe out my August pay packet, so for a nice healthy fund for furnishings
and a small "cushion" in the bank, it would be great to make the most of both! ... BTW, back to the name game, how could I forget elona, MimiF (who I forgot even though she's posted less than ONE PAGE ago
), katgoddess, and Smashing Blouse??!!

Hi all! :j
Only my second time posting in here, but I often lurk to read since you guys all seem so organised, and it spurs me on
I've just spent nearly 2 hours trying to get through to a phone company... and when I actually did I couldn't get him to listen. For some reason they've stuffed up my direct debit... they've put my last phonecall down as a complaint, when all I wanted to do was check I'm up to date with payments.. and my cancellation email might not be read for a week or two... perilously close to when I move to Aus
If I'm ever ready to move it'll be nothing short of a miracle.

Afternoon all (well it will be by the time I hit post :rotfl: )
I'm hopeless at remembering names on chatboards so I'll pass on making a listThe way I get around remembering who said what and replying to it is by opening the "reply to thread" in another tab
Anyway, brain is tired. Fell asleep watching Comedy connections last night in bed. Woke about 15 minutes or so later with a really sore arm as it was hanging out the bed holding the remote control  I still haven't caught up with my missed sleep from the weekend, or the tiredness I get as a result of the fresh () sea air :rotfl:
DD is watching Cbeebies ATM (I had to watch Auntie Mabel and Pippin as well  ) as part of our "home schooling" over the holidays. I've got some activity books for her to do and she's asked to play school before she even broke up so I'm trying to do school for her from 10am until 4pm, so I at least have my computer time first thing in the morning as I would normally have:rolleyes: So far today she's drawn a picture to go with a story she wrote while she was away, done 4 pages of maths work on "adding/subtracting to 10" and "time". She's had snack time and now she's having TV time while she has lunch and colours in. I'm giving her until 1pm to do whatever then we'll play hang man or something.
We're stuck in today waiting for a repair man to come and look at our fridge-freezer. I'm hoping he turns up soon and is able to repair it as I miss having my fridge and I don't think my stuff will keep much longer in a cool bag
So far I have tidied the livingroom (including stashing the ironing pile under the stairs so it's out the way), cleared up the kitchen and swept the floor. Both bedrooms have been tided, clean clothes away and beds made. 1 load of wash is done and I need to put it outside in a minute, I have towels that need to be washed as well but I think I'll split them into two piles. I have washing up still to do due to the volume of cooking I did on Monday when we got back. What wasn't washed yesterday was put into soak so it's not too badRight, need to get on. :grouphug: to all and Laters
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
