Morning All!!

At work as usual, was glad to escape as DD is spectacularly horrid at the moment, she has been at holiday club for the last 2 days, which is a full day and so is very tired. It gives me a very good indication of what we're in for come September when she starts ful time school, oh joy....

DH is home with them today as he is on night duty the next 2 nights, they can't even go out as they have to wait in for our lost suitcase to arrive (would you believe it was the one we had filed with wine and bubbly from hols that got lost, they couldn't lose the dirty washing could they!! ) so no doubt he will be stir crazy if DD continues.

You may recall I said yesterday I was off to Microsoft in Reading to complain as they had taken our brand new 360 off two months ago for repair and basically mucked us about no end? Well, off i went, managed to blag my way through gate security (was completely honest though don't believe in porky pies when you've got a complaint) and finally got to see the head of Customer Relations!! Came away with a new 360 being delivered tommorrow hopefully (oops poor DH will be stuck indoors again..), he also threw in a hard drive (DH had promised DS one next month), several new games and a couple of fascias (wanted the orange one as it matches the accents in the living room, DS wasn't impressed he wanted camouflage!!). Was really chuffed, grinned to myself all the way back down the M4!

I can't remember anyone's names, but will excuse myself by saying I'm new;) I do read all the posts in the daily thread but cannot possibly remember all the bits. I will say:

Kyle: hold in there, we had 2 nights controlled crying with both ours, it was horrid but sooooo worth it.

Queenie, we made your cookies the other day, they were luverly!!

Tootles, my MIL does quilting as well and we have some beauties, if theres ever a "show us your bedroom" thread, I'll make sure our wedding ring one is on show! I thought yours were simply stunning.

Breakfast: Muesli and chopped banana
Lunch: Grilled turkey, cous cous and salad.
Dinner - Spag bol (DS 's fave)

One load of washing to be hung out by DH, he is so busy at the moment. He came home completely black with smoke yesterday and we are having to wash his kit every day as it is drenched with sweat. The next load should be going on any moment.

I cleared out the broom cupboard last night and was so excited by the extra space I couldn't sleep that is soooo sad. Will surf later to look for shelving for it.

Must fly this is very long.

Hello all (I'm finally here, and on pg 2 already!):hello: so glad i posted last nite and got on pg 1 for a change!

Well what were we on last nite??? I know what i was on (sort of cake thingy with blueberries in it:o :whistle: ) - Oh but it was a good laugh wasnt it!:rotfl: which was just what i needed as things aint too good in the house of shez (wont bore you with details) needless to say as a woman we soldier on.....

At work finally this morning, have treated myself to cappucino and quick read on here before bossman comes in.

kyle - had same trouble with my DS, tried control crying - didnt work, in the end left him to cry one nite and then everything was fine, he didnt try it again! - and embarrassing when you have to explain to neighbours that youre not killing them!:rotfl:

chipps - good luck in car, i'd better give the M25 wide birth today then!
dont want to hear of traffic reports on the radio!

Hi thanks for all the words of encouragement, since lo is in our bedroom the hv said for us to sit at edge of bed and when he tries to get up( which was a lot of times!) to lie him down again and say night night.

Did see improvement last night so hopefully wont take too long!:rolleyes:

Cleared out cupboard this morning and found a few baby items which i need rid off, put them on freecycle to see if anyone would like them.

Still to do:

Hoover upstairs
Make lunch
Clean kitchen

Going to great aunts in afternoon with mum for her to see the boys, have printed off a wedding photo for her of the boys in their kilts:T
