Had a bad night last night, dreamt that darleks were starting a war on the Thames!Must stop eating cheese at night!
Just had water pouring through kitchen ceiling from the bathroom above! Turns out the plumber hadn't connected the bath waste pipe properly!
I now have 5 towels in the wash.
Lillibet - Try not to let your sil get you down, that was mean of her to do that on Spuds birthday!

IceMaiden, Catowen, following requests, I've put recipes for Apple wine, Green Tomato Chutney, and Sloe Gin, here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=2652048&posted=1#post2652048
Cor! Haven't made green tomato chutney since I was a kid! Mum used to make this and I had to feed all the toms into the old hand mincer! I was scared to death that my fingers would get caught! I can smell it cooking now ........mmmEverything in moderation..............including moderation..............0 -
Well not doing the best job on the OS front at the moment as rather than going home yesterday and cleaning the house from top to bottom I booked a holiday online :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Anyway - today's another day. DH started a new job this week and is going out for a team drink after work tonight and won't be home until about 8ish so I'm going to go home clean the house and get dinner ready (god what a good wife I am!).
lillibet - Hope spuds birthday went OK yesterday and I agree in telling your SIL that she has two hopes and it's not bob hope! You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -

Morning all.............(((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) to those who need them............. what were you lot on last night, or shouldn't I ask...... will read the end of the thread if I have time later.
Up, showered and ready for the GC arriving. OH going off in a mo to pick them up.
Started bright and sunny but cool, quite a breeze blowing, right now its clouded over, looks like rain....... ah well the GC will watch ceebeebies on TV. They do not have a TV at home, so like to watch at Nana's house when they come, sometimes they have a video or DVD on depends on how they feel. Gives my daughter and myself time to have a chat without little ears listerning.
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Pooky you are the only one on my list hows that!!!!!:T :T :j :j :rotfl: :rotfl:
Right short but sweet this morning..... off for my caffine fix.........have a good day....................

Morning everyone
.
I was going to list everyone individually, but after last nights insomnia the brain isn't functioning despite nursing a cup of tea for over an hour!
Still a bit stressed about the fence - don't want to be petty, but equally don't want all my hard work spoiled....
Kyle - well done on persevering hun. I do hope that you have one of the littlies that gets the idea pretty quickly - mine were of the kind where it got worse before it got better - but still WELL WORTH THE EFFORT. Stick with it girl, and if you feel your willpower waning in the middle of the night, just remember that we're all behind you sending you lots of hugs.
I've totally lost direction this week - went to put on the BM last night only to discover that I've run out of the flour, so I guess I'll have to get that sorted. Hmmm, best get out and water the toms too as the rain that was forecast has turned into clear blue skies!!!!
Appologies for last night - I was led astray by the nightowls
Best wishes to all,
