Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Well I've dragged DD out to the shops for some bits. Bought a pint of milk, smallest & cheapest butter-like spread, some eggs and evaporated milk. They've now joined the marmalade, cheese, almost defrosted bottles of frozen water, and cans of beer in the cool bag. The mayo, saladcream, lard, margarine & crisp&dry all smell dodgy so I'll be putting them in the fridge with a tub of bicarb to keep the smell down

Spent some time watching the cheeky sparrows having a feed. I have a net feeder of seeds so they're always fighting to get on it. Before I heard this strange noise from outside, when I went out to look the cheeky things had made a hole in the netting and the majority of the seeds are now on the floor :rotfl:They haven't moved on all day, some have even been down while I've been putting washing out :D Speaking of which I really need to go put the penultimate load out :j Later

Hi Everyone! My first time on the daily Thread and I must say I'm feeling inspired! ALthough I've regularly looked and contributed to various OS threads, I'd never looked at the Fly Lady challenge and that looks fun!

Also having a bit of declutter at home at the mo and OH and I have found some things to sell on Ebay. This was done by tidying the spare room of all the carrier bags that had been in there since we moved in a year ago! It felt so good!

Have also asked Mum for recipe to help me use up some breadcrumbs in the freezer.

Will keep looking on here for all kinds of ideas and inspiration!!

    Afternoon everyone

Having a busy day:rolleyes: It's Spud's 1st brithday, got my parents & aunt & uncle- in- law over for afternoon tea soon/dinner tonight so got a massive turkey in the oven:D We have given him a childs (good condition 2nd hand) rocking chair which I have made a cushion to go on & a matching taggie blanket, plus a bottle of vintage port for when he's 21 & an acre of rainforest.

Had a stroppy email from sister in law today, demanding that we have mother in law to stay with us over Xmas. Apart from the tone & rudness of the email, how must if feel to be an elderly relative who is treated like an inconveneint pet that someone has to look after over Xmas? Well, I don't get on at all with M-i-L & our house is too small for overnight guests, plus M-i-L is quite capable of entertaining herself so S-i-L is getting a reply which is NO with a capital F in front of it:eek::p
Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!
