Elona, thanks for the suggestion, I've already done that, got some lovely silky beaded tiebacks and they look quite good. I will probably get round to it one day. LOL
I too wish I could mention everybody but my fingers don't work so well so I can't type much.0 -

PinkI was off line for over a week and so didn't know that one was there
Can you split my piccy post from this one and add it to the other?
Right, I'll do a search and see how best to nurture it. So, with my water fountain, pergola, herbs, chook, quails and self planting couldbe courgette/mightbe marrow/possibly pumpkin ... I'll be over in 7th Heaven having a coffee and slice of cake if anyone needs me~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

No problem, I'll split it off and move it over.

Morning all,
Hugs to those whose littlies are poorly, it's not nice and sleep deprivation is torture!!
Nicki, a word of warning, our freezer broke down recently and we had also bought Comet's extended warranty. An engineer came out, said to DH he had fixed it so I went out and did my shopping to re-stock everything we had lost, lo and be-hold it was still broken. So we lost all that (actually it went to my mums but Comet don't need to know thatAppointment was re-booked, cancelled, re-booked for a week later, it was finally fixed and I filed out a claim form (was gently encouraged by the engineer to include some fillet steak and smoked salmon) but I was still really peeved that we had been messed about for nearly 3 weeks, so wrote to the MD, demanding compensation and got £50!!
If you need his details, I'll dig them out, just let me know.
Took me so long to write all that in between work, I've forgotten everyone else's bits, hugs to all who need and have a lovely day to every one else!!
Breakfast - muesli
Lunch - Tortellini
Dinner- smoked mackerel, jacket pots and salad
PS. Just finished a phone call to Microsoft who appear to have lost DS's 360 (broke down two weeks after we got it), they have had it for over two months and told me twice it was on it's way!! Needless to say it never appeared!
Told them that if they couldn't get me one in 24 hours I would come to their HQ in Reading as I happen to live not very far away, armed with my two children, sugared and E-numbered up to their eyeballs until they give me a replacement.
To be fair, I don't expect to come away with a replacement, but i do expect to have gotten myself heard instead of being contained in a call centre and repeatedly lied to!!
Wish me luck!! Am rather looking forward to it!!

Drat I just typed a really long post and pressed 'update' and lost it!
I think it is a courgette plant too. I have several taking over the garden as I speak. It is like Day of the Triffids out there. OH doesn't even like courgettes!
Today I am in full Pirate mode. I have to make, or otherwise acquire four pirate outfits for a party next week. I went charity shopping yesterday and managed to do quite well so I have got black pedal pushers and a baggy white shirt for me. All I need now is a waiscoat and a sash and bandana and I am sorted. DSS (step-son) is small enough to fit a ready-made pirate outfit so I bought him one from ELC, along with two pirate hats for the kids. DS has some old trousers that I will cut down and fringe the bottoms and he has a striped t-shirt that is ideal. He needs a sash and bandana too, and maybe a waiscoat as well. OH has some black jeans but I will leave the cutting down to him! I need to get him a white shirt or striped t-shirt. I bought some leather-look fabric and some red chiffon-y stuff on the market yesterday, enough for three waiscoats and all the bandanas and sashes I need for £5.50. All I need to do now is get busy!
We are away next week so I need to get busy ironing and packing so we don't have a last-minute panic like normal.
Today I need to visit Lidl for a few bits and pieces and pot up my autumn/winter baskets. I have some pansies and other bits to put in. The tomatoes are doing well. I won't need to buy any for a good while now. Likewise lettuces, my little gems have come on a treat.
Right, must get on.
Have a good day everyone. :wave:Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Please stop talking about curtains..................I have a pair sitting in the drawer at the bottom of the bed, they need shortening and the thermal linings sewing in, they are for our bedroom, we have only been here 2 years, and I still have not done them!!!!!
The present ones are deep pink velvet bought from M & S in the days when their stuff just did not wear out, (like 20 years ago:eek:  ) I am heartliy fed up with them, but just cannot get my butt into gear to get the other ones done, would much rather be quilting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jelly made and spag bol sauce in the slow cooker, will put the bread maker on this afternoon then the loaf will be ok to slice in the morning, carrots done for the cake, just need to get the rest of the ingredients together,
By the way saw the postlady this morning, she is going to bring the letter for me tomorrow, so nice lady has saved me a trip........might give her a tip at Christmas for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:T :T :T
