    Hi everyone!
Sorry haven't had time to read the thread yet so hugs to all who need them. This fulltime lark is seriously interfering with my OS browsing time!:D
Do I get a prize for the bottle of Stardrops having travelled the furtherst [by default anyway!] My Mum rang me last night specifcally to tell me that she's bought a bottle to take over to their new house they've just bought in Romania. I told her where to get it but turns out she's a bit of a lurker on this board and had already read all about it. Wave to my Mum please:j :j :rotfl:
Not much OS today except usual tidying up and bathroom cleaning. Getting organised for our holiday to Norfolk mainly. It'll be a freezer dip tonight for tea [you know one of those anoymous marg pots we hang on to with equally unidentifable HM leftovers in it but OH's not complaining as he's taken over most of the cooking during the week now as I get in later.
Absolutely nothing to do with OS but a student's recommended the following site http://phrontistery.info. It's got all the old words listed that have dropped out of usage...I love that sort of thing and there are some great examples.

    Hi everyone,

Dorry - tonsillitis is horrid, I know they say it's best to leave them in nowadays but DD had hers out when she was 7 because she had such high temps very frequently. I always knew when she was starting a bout because she wet the bed as well  (Dr didn't believe that tonsillitis was causing bedwetting but after she had the op she never wet the bed again) she was so much healthier after they were taken out. DS had lots of bouts of tonsillitis but rarely ran a temp - he's still got his and now suffers with them far more than he did as a child. I think if your DS has 5 bouts in a year they would consider taking them out:confused: .

Living in hope - glad you didn't have to stay in hospital too long, take care.

Feeling a bit odd myself - had a strange heartbeat recently which they can't find a reason for but it makes me feel ill at times. Or perhaps it was the fact that the auditor:eek: was in this morning checking my annual accounts. Thankfully everything was in order:cool: so I'll be sending them off to the external auditors by the end of the week.:T I'll be glad to see the back of them.
