    Good Morning All

(((hugs))) to all those who need them. Good Luck for those of you doing the flylady challenge. I cant at the mom due to the school hols but will be there in September. Queenie good luck with the decluttering - I do desperately need to declutter my office I hate working in here at the mom. Oh well another job for Sept.

Glad youre out of hospital Livingin hope.

For everyone else hope you have a great relaxing/productive day (delete where applicable!)

Myself - well have been on office since 9am and havnt done a thing yet due to phone calls. Wanted to get done early as well as like Pen-Pen I need to get the last bits of DD's new school uniform. Have also got to buy 2 pe bags 1 swim bag and 1 book bag - think that will be a small fortune in itself.

So am going to make a cup of coffee then get down to it. Actually have just remembered that need to get something out of the freezer for dinner so will have a route round in there first - didnt menu plan for this week as just got back off holiday.

    Have a great day

Just got out the shower. I'm suppose to be doing some research on the net about solar hot water systems etc. I sort of got side tracked. :D

Thriftlady Glad DD is feeling better.

Amanda Hope your cake turns out nice. Let us know.

Rhubarb crumble was very nice. The surveyor won't be able to come out until Saturday. Bit of a  as he has to measure from the footings and give the measurements to the kit home people. They then can make the steel which takes 3 weeks. So we are basically wasting a week. Never mind. Rome wasn't built in a day so they say. ;)

Might go to bed shortly and read my book. I'm in a really good part. Hope you have a nice day and ((((((hugs)))))) to all those in need of them.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning all,

Well hopefully things will get back to normal a bit now in the Ice household. Haven't managed to post much as O/H been off work for 2 weeks which has been quite trying sometimes:rolleyes: he needs to be on the go constantly:confused: so have had a full itinerary for the last 14 days, I think even the kids are slightly relieved hes gone back to work.

Pen Pen - I would love your Green Tomato Chutney recipe, maybe you could post it as I think theres a few of us who will need it:D you also mentioned about Apple wine?? I could do with economizing in this area so maybe will have a go at making my own.

LIH - Glad to see you home from hospital:grouphug:

Welcome to all new members who have joined since I've been away.

Right, nothing will get done by me siting here, apologies for not mentioning everyone, I do read all the daily thread but just can't type as fast as Queenie:rotfl:

    Bye for now, take care

Please stop talking about altering curtains - it makes me feel guilty! My living room curtains are a weeny bit too short (my Mum made them "blind" as it were) & I really must let down the hems a bit, but there always seems to be so many other things to do.
Working from home today, so the WM is on it's second load & I'm just about to go & make tonights cottage pie. It's Sunday's rib of beef leftovers, which have been soaking in red wine since last night. Yum. Maybe it's because I was brought up on them, but leftovers meals always taste much nicer to me than "real meals" :D

Hope you're all well, especially those of you who are sick, have poorly littlies (or fridge/freezers or cars!) or are generally feeling under the weather.
