    Good morning everyone

thriftlady - Hope your DD is better soon. I know what you mean about not remembering what everyone has said - I have the same problem!
kyle - hope HV has some suggestions for you. Sleepless nights are awful.
somo1 - hope today's work goes quickly for you
aussielass - I haven't made yogurt cake for ages, or rhubarb crumble for that matter. We transplanted our rhubarb this year, we had to move it when we built the conservatory, so hardly picked any in an attempt to get it to establish itself.

hi to anyone I have cross posted with, and to those to follow!

Our car was hit on Sunday, someone in a parked car suddenly reversed into us as we were waiting to overtake him. So today the person from the insurance co's garage is coming to have a look at the damage. It is a nuisance as tomorrow is DGD2's 1st birthday, & we had planned to go visit, but I am not sure what will happen now. Still, no-one was hurt so that is something to be thankful about.

Also I am feeding a friend's cat while she is on holiday, so that is another thing to do. I am going in twice a day (she feeds her cat 3 times usually, but I don't have time for that!). Next week my sister wants me to feed her fish as well, so I have to go round to hers to find out how to work the burglar alarm they have just installed. I foresee fun & games with that when she's away! :D

    Have a good day!:D

    Good morning everyone,

Thriftlady - hope DD is feeling better this morning.

Kyle - once a child is on solids they no longer need a drink at night, so it wont hurt him not to have a drink, its just going to be hard on you trying to break the habit, good luck, i hope the HV has some good advise for you x

SOMO1 - hope work is ok, this is also my last week before 2 weeks off, i cant wait!!!!!

Aussie - the cake sounds lovely, might have to look at the recipe thread for that one!!!!

twink - hope you get to start your painting today!

Chips - hope the car will be sorted, how scary to be in the car at the time tho, at least you were able to get the other persons details!!!

(((HUGS))) to everyone today, if you would like one!!!!

Well, busy here today, 4 extras, but so far its looking nice outside, so hopefully they will be able to play outside, i think a trip to the park might be in order. Also need to make some biscuits, so that should keep them all busy for a while!!!! I need to whip the hoover around at some point, and DS has football this evening but apart from that, nothing much planned, so hopefully a nice day (if i can keep all of them happy!!!)

Hope everyone has a lovely day
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

:hello: Goooood Morning, fellow OS'ers :D:D:D

thriftlady - poor dd! :( Hoping you both got a good sleep and she's better when she wakes up ((hugs))

kyle - ((hugs)) sorry to hear you've having a tough time sleeping and getting your little one to stop needing a bottle through the night. Not sure what to suggest, mine all seemed to just "do it" Hope the HV comes up with something that will work for you.

somo1 - your excitement at having 2 weeks off leaps through your post :D:D:D

tootles - I know just what you mean about having a week off meal prep'ing/cooking; isn't that what take-away's were invented for? :rotfl: I'm quite lucky, 12yo is keen to learn to cook so I'm optimistic that he will be my salvation at those times ;)

ivyleaf - :hello: Good to see you popping in :D:D:D

pancakequeen - does your son cook? Maybe you could do role reversal and he can leave you something in the fridge? ;)

youngie - like the idea of a dinner club :D Do you participate in one? Wouldn't work for everyone, but it is an interesting idea! :)

:hello: Welcome dawn2dusk you got some great bargains! Have you looked through the Mega Index or the The Recipe Index there might be some juicer recipes there?

kiwichick - did you manage to get the info you needed for your neighbours? That's a really sweet thing to do for them! ((hugs))

Amanada666 - good luck today with your home blessings hour ;) Did your Toad in the Hole turn out ok? If it was a bit soggy, did you heat the pan up to very hot before adding your batter?

Ruby Pudding - there is a way you can keep chickens in a paved yard and chooks and cats can live in harmony

Kaz - ta for the tip on Asda :D If your arm is still playing up ... go to the Dr's and have it checked out!

Shez - did you stop at just two? ;):D :rotfl:

    Roz_V - :T :T :j :j CongratUlations on clearing your overdraft :j :j :T :T Brilliant!!!

nickyhutch - :hello: Glad you posted :D Oooh yes, it's quite addictive being on here :D:D I have to literally turn my computer off if I find I'm on here too much :o Lucky for you, September is still a few weeks away  ;)

johannasmum - Are you feeling any better today? ((hugs))

Sweet Pea - you have been *very* busy and productive!! :T :T Will you give yourself a well earned rest today or do you still have much to do?
tinkerbelluk - :hello: Welcome to OS :D:D:D

AussieLass - Oooh your yogurt cake sounds scrummy! Any chance of the recipe?

twink - oh those Asda buns can play havoc with your BP :naughty:  :rotfl: ;) Good luck with getting your painting done today without interruptions :D

Chipps - Oh dear! Your poor car!! Hope the insurance mechanic's visit isn't too painful and it's sorted out soon. It can be very frustrating and inconvenient when this happens! ((hugs))

After catching up with all that, I need another coffee!! :rotfl:

It's quite nippy outside, so I don't think it will be a beach day after all  I do have some decluttering to do though in preparation for moving rooms around.

B: Cinnamon and Sultana bread toasted
L: Egg sandwiches with sprouted seeds
    D: Pasta bolognaise

Making the teabread in the BM yesterday, I'd run out of baking parchment and was about to try greasing the pan with the butter paper, when ... ... realised the wrapper was *just* the right size for lining the bottom of the BM pan when making cakes :j

((Get well soon, hugs)) to those who need them.

Have a good day everyone  :D:D

    Morning all

Thriftlady I hope your DD feels better soon.

Queenie - good luck with the decluttering.

    (hugs to everyone else)

Just a quick one as I am only supposed to be moving some money on the online banking. It was so nice having these savings but how quickly they are depleting now I'm using them :( Never mind, it's all for the purpose it was intended and the kids are loving all these trips out, I haven't heard "Mum I'm bored" once so far.

Have a great day everyone and wish me luck finding my way through New Street Station.
