    Hi All,

I've reneged(sp?) somewhat on the flylady challenge - oops! Today I have cooked 3 different soups (split pea and courgette, pumpkin & tomato, lentil and onion) and made a bolognase. I have cleaned the kitchen (a bit) and hoovered the downstairs, washed the leather settee, dusted and thats it:o. I havent done any laundry or ironing and the bathrooms are a mess. Can't be bothered with more though, weight watchers in less than an hour so havent any more time.

Am gutted to have missed that boots thread earlier, missed out by 10 minutes . Will keep my ear to the ground from now on me thinks.

Righto, off to get some advice from those on the banks forum, my neighbours have been royally stuffed by Abbey  and I'm doing all I can to help them out - wish me luck!

    Back later,
    Al.

Might have been a Freudian slip? After all, "swanky" is actually a compliment ;):D:D

    Hi everyone

I managed to squeeze another hour or so sleep in this morning, but I am rather pooped right now. I see Moggins has mentioned that she has started a new thread for this month's flylady challenge - thanks Moggins, I thought the length of the original thread may have been off-putting for some.

RozV - regards the date, I think that since Aussie Lass lives in Aussie Land and started the thread when it was evening there but morning in Blighty Land she have got slightly confused. Bless...!! Congrats on clearing your overdraft, you're doing really well to get that amount of money cleared - I'm impressed!

kiwichick - you've done loads today, but you can still jump in with the challenge tomorrow (or Wednesday). Hope WW brought you good news.

dawn2dusk - I love smoothies and juices, but I have the world's worst imagination. I'm sure there will be some suggestions along soon if there's nothing in the indexed collection which takes your fancy...or you could start your own thread asking how to make nice smoothies.

Mr LivingInHope - I do hope your dw (that's darling wife, and NOT dish washer!!!) is feeling a lot better soon. Let her know we were all asking about her won't you? Maybe you could give her a little surprise and do a bit of cleaning or tidying or something, I'm sure she'd love that more than grapes any day!

I'm sorry but I am going to have to shake myself as I am starting to nod off. The flylady challenge isn't going to do itself is it!? I have someone coming to put new blinds up in my windows this week, so need to try and get the place looking as if a person rather than a piggy lives here.

    Bye all!

  • Good evening everyone (I'd say hello to you all individually but I want to get to bed by 10pm....:rotfl: :rotfl:)

Back at college today so I've only been in about an hour. HM feta and pea tortilla for tea (delish) and now I'm parked in front of the tv with a pile of coursebooks.....

Popping out at 9 to feed the neighbour's chickens again. Am going to miss the little darlings when the neighbours get back off holiday :o Am so desperate for some of my own now but impossible dream at the moment as only have a paved back yard and 4 very dominant adult cats. Never mind, one day....

Have a great rest of the evening everyone!!

Hi everyone, just a quickie - and it really will be a quickie....
All this digging etc has taken its toll on my arm. I've had pins and needles, some numbness and some pain in my arm since Saturday morning. ~I rested on Saturday, but when it carried on I decided I#d best crack on with the garden. Pleased to say all the bark is down (2 tons) and the trampoline up. Boys are having a whale of a time on it - even I had a few bounces yesterday much to their amusment (luckily they didn't notice that some 'things' slipped out of their hammocks!!!!)
Had a good chuckle at the earlier posts, thanks all. Helo to all newbies, also to Mr LIH, hope Mrs LIH recovers quickly.
Must go now as scrolling and typing make it much worse.
    Love to all,
    Kaz x
