:T:T:T Aussielass - you started the thread!!! Great news about the house, makes it all the more real. I remember when I got off the boat when I left England I came to the site of the house to have a look at the foundations - what a shock to find out that the builders had been telling porky pies and the ground hadn't even been broken!! Believe me, I get the significance of foundations:D:D.

I'm restarting the flylady challenge today - I sort of started it yesterday with a good session in the kitchen, but it was a bit late to start mopping the floor so I'll do that today. It'd be great to see lots of you join in, specially any new comers who weren't around when the first flylady challenge was set. I do so wish I didn't have to go to w*** - it really does get in the way.

I'll toddle off now - I happened to wake in the middle of the night, but I think I'll be able to resume my night's sleep, fingers crossed.

Thanks Snowy. Just gulping down a cuppa now. Have to catch the ferry in 1/2 hr & it's a 10 min walk at a briskish pace.:D I've sped through the vacuming/washing floors, cleaned bathroom & loo & swished around the microfibre cloth. After picking up DD car thought I might nosy over to the supermarket seeing as I don't have to take the bus & get a few supplies. Hope heaps of stuff have been discounted but I never seem to get much luck in that dept. :rolleyes:

I can't believe it's Monday already:mad:
I had a good clear out of the kitchen this weekend, managed two black bin liners of just junk mostly paperwork that has been stuffed in drawers, I also found a photo album of my oh and his ex on holiday in Florida:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: To say the least I was shocked:eek: :eek: :eek:
I have had flippin toothache since Friday night it has been terrible I can feel I have an absess (sp) in my jawline I have suffered with them for years luckily my dentist gives me antibiotics 'just in case' but the pain is horrendous.
I would love to start this flylady thingy as I missed the first round, can someone tell me what I have gotta do though? I get the idea about clearing out etc
Made bread for saturday morning at it turned out vile I think I forgot to put sugar in it:o
Breakfast: toast and tea
Lunch: Sarnie of some kind
Dinner: spag bol done in sc, just gonna brown the rice in a while

morning all!!
just a quickie as i can hear my youngest dd stirring.
not much planned today......meant to be housework day but i accidentally got soooooooooooo sunburned yesterday its now became a taking it easy day instead:o
it was a great day yesterday though,went to the lakes for the afternoon with bil,sil and dh's grandma...took a great picnic and fab time had by all.
got a few phonecalls to do to arrange and pay a few things plus have to wait in for carpenter who is coming to put new shelves in the airing cupboard as mine had to be ripped out for a plumbing job a few weeks ago.

AUSSIELASS..........oooooo please,please put the photos on and keep sharing,i love to be nosey and it'll be so fab so see it all happen.

ageandjo......hope the pain dissapears soon,sounds nasty.

snowyowl....hope work isnt too bad and passes quickly for you.

Got rid of the teenagers yesterday...and things feel very quiet without them about. I miss them a lot actually. They were no trouble at all. In fact one of them did the washing up, washing, tidied up etc... without us even asking. Part of me wishes we could have them back again. Boo hoo

They'd be very useful to have around once things get difficult for me and bean puts in an appearance. Oh well. Guess I'll just have to get use to doing things myself again.

Things are still pretty easy for me. Getting lots of sleep, and bean seems happy.

Tea is....whatever I can be bothered to get out the freezer. Probably some pork chops. Feel like I have had too many chips over the past couple of weeks. Even though we haven't had that many actually.

dull and cooler today, was in the garden yesterday lopping the plum tree, its a bit like painting, once i had the secauters in my hand i just kept going:D nothing was safe, got up the ladder and lopped a bit of the beech tree too dont want it too big
will get stuck into painting the sittingroom today, the hols are flying past

aussielass- i never seem to get the bargains either, our supermarket is too greedy to reduce anything too low
ageandjo- toothache is awful hope you get dentist today
learningtosave- that picnic sounded lovely
snowy- i will join you on the flylady, that will make sure i do some painting today

Good morning everyone,

Well, my last week at work before i have 2 weeks off!!!! YEAH!!!! only downside is that i dont get paid when im on holiday, but never mind, more important to spend some time with my 2 without all the others around. Have 2 extras here today, so shouldnt be too bad. Bought some new toys at the car boot yesterday, so that should keep them happy!!!!
Need to do some cleaning today, get the WM and BM on, but im in no hurry to get started!!!
Right, off to see if i can get DS and DD up!!!!

Morning All,

Well, I survived the holiday but have come home and had sick kids all over the place. Noone sick last night though so I am hoping they are all on the mend now.

I need to join the flylady challenge too, since we came home I have done a weeks clothes washing and cut the lawn but thats it. And the clean clothes are all just in a heap on the living room floor . So today will be spent mostly cleaning whilst listening to some very loud Crowded House (Fave NZ Group) and making 3 batches of soup.

I have weight watchers tonight and according to my scales I've put on 2.5lbs in the week we've been away :rolleyes: so am gearing myself up for a "telling off". I was going to follow the diet whilst away but then thought "sod it", it was our first family hols and mine and dhs first one since pre-kids so I just went with the intention of forgetting the sodding diet and having fun.

OH GOD - I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. Whilst unpacking the boxes from our loft when we moved here I found some pics that dh had kept of his ex, she was wearing....................................how shall I put this "nicely"?........................................f**k all is what she was wearing and he had f*****g well kept the pics - W****R!!!!!!!!!!!! They sure know how to make us feel special dont they these men?!?!?

Right, off for a well deserved browse and a large .
