    Queenie,

I am just making quilter cushions for a craft sale in Novemebr, I set myself a target of 10, also quilted bags. As I have an embroidery machine I am also doing some cards for Christmas, birthdays etc for sale, although I have to source the fabric for these yet, have been owrking on the designs this week...looking right nw for a pattern for an easy doily a for the sale and b to send to my email pals for christmas, light to post to the US and France.

I am struggling with a queen soize quilt I started 3 years ago, hand quilting, its very heavy so far too hot to quilt in this weather.............might get it finished for Christmas.......

Right OH is all kitted out in his whites, complete with panama, I have my posh wedding/sunhat.... see you, will let you know how I get on........

    Afternoon all

Sounds like everyone's having a good weekend.

I took DD's to chessington (thanks to Mr T and his Deals) - they had a great time and even managed to find "!!!!!! and Dom" the tv presenters, we asked them nicely for a photo - nice lads.

Yesterday was a lovely relaxing day - DD's bought themselves a tent (sleeping bags and roll mats included) and pitched it in the garden to sleep in last night - I thought they'd be in by 11pm but they stuck out the whole night - but both are looking forward to their own beds tonight.

Went to a boot fair this morning - didn't manage to spend anything though, then on for a swim. Back via the supermarket to do the weekly shop and home to play with the washing machine this afternoon (oh the joys)

A friends Dad keeps pigs and they'll be ready next weekish - £64 a half pig....does that sound about right????? I've never bought that much meat in one go - I'm sure I can find someone to go in with me but want to make sure the price is good.

    Anyway - hugs all round.

Well, I've just finished work :T and there's 3 loads of washing out, 1 load waiting to go out, and another waiting to go in the machine.

A person is also allowed to post how the weather feels where she is, I haven't seen you post on Old Style before so you may not have noticed there is a slight difference here, we try to support people without making them feel small. What goes on other parts of the board don't go on here, especially not on the daily thread.
No wonder people feel a little shy posting on the daily thread  didn't realise it was a 'club' that you had to join? I've posted on here a couple of times and never been acknowledged, won't bother in future if you have to watch what you say on this thread only.:o

    Livinginhope, don't stop posting.

    It's not a club :D

I've been a member of this site for ages, I post all over the place, quite a lot of my posts aren't acknowledged :D It's just so busy, it gets overlooked.

I think posts can be read differently to how they're meant, that's why I use lots of smilies. If I don't, I come across as angry or sarcastic :o
