Morning peeps:j
Well done Ruby Pudding on passing your exam:T - and if my accountant is anything to go by you are on your way to riches:D
Unfortunatly it is like autumn here too - I love the sun but it seems to be elsewhere today (moggins/twink our resident bouncers well done:cool:)
Scuzz i sympathise hun cos I'm working too. Currently sitting next to a humongus laser printer which gives out so much heat but cant have the fan on cos it would blow all the workbooks everywhere:mad: must complain to my boss about this:D
Will probably escape for a bit of fresh air later but my workload is pretty high so not much chance of a break today.
Its my friends birthday this week (one of the group I go to a local Italian with most Sundays) so tonight will be a bit of a celebration for her so at least I have that to look forward too.
Am also thinking about making the butternut squash soup they made on one of the come dine with me programmes last week - it looks gorgeous will let you know.
Anyway back to the grindstone I guess - the darling laser printer (DLP!!) is demanding paper:rolleyes:
Have a great Sunday all

Just decided on an impromptu picnic so need to dash to shop and buy a few bits before maiking flask of tea etc.
If I had been really OS I would have been baking last night but decided to make the best of sudden impulses.
Hugs to everyone.
Tootles
I used to be very shy and realise to my horror that people thought I was "stuck up". Could you confide in the person you are talking to that you are a bit shy and then they will try to put you at ease?"This site is addictive!"

Hello all! Back from my hols - missed all the chat, and looking forward to catching up! Haven't slept for more than 24 hours, so a bit muggy.
Catowen, you look like you've had a fun day! Where is everyone - are they off on holiday?
Twink, have you much fruit on your plum tree? We have bumper year, but they're not quite ripe.
Starlorna, hello! Good luck selling your house.
Hi, Troo, Cheddar sounds very appealing in this weather.
Shez, hi. The chicks have grown huge in two weeks. Should be able to spot their flavours soon.
Happy birthday to Mr Moggins! :bdaycake:
Talking of Autumn, DH was horrified to see an Xmas shop in the airport in New York! :xmassign: :xmastree: :snow_grin
Hello to Snoozer and Ruby and JW1096. Don't think we've met. Welcome if you're new around here, and sorry for not recognising you if you've been around a while. :rotfl:
Michelle, take it easy hun. Go with your instincts, though. I had bleeding with both of mine - no prob in the end, but take no chances. How long now? I'm sure I should remember, but head like a shed..........
Hi, Nelski, pumpkin soup sounds lovely. I melt cheese into mine, so it's like a fondue - scrummy!!
Hi, Purple Princess, have a good time at work, if that's poss.
Queenie, are you around? Any sign of quail eggs?
Hi, Elona. Picnic sounds lovely.
Off to bed now, will catch up later.

moggins - Happy Birthday, Mr Moggins :dance:Oooh, congrats to your DD! How exciting!!!
tootles - Good luck this afternoon. Hope you are treated with more respect this time around - also, might help to consider, perhaps others are just as reserved as yourself and that may be one of the reasons they were not forthcoming? ((hugs))
snoozer - sounds like your priority right now is some "Me Time" to recoup some energy! Prioritise your to do list based only on what is *essential* - the rest can wait until you have rejuvenatedHope you manage to get some chill out time for yourself.

pen pen and queenie- plum tree duly cut back to half its size, last house we inherited a plum tree and it had masses of plums so when we moved here we bought a tree, but it was either in the wrong place, or wrong soil or a late frost so we never had many plums on it
thats great about the quails queenie, heres to many more eggs
ruby pudding- well done on the exams0
