Morning all and welcome Dumpy.
Overcast here today so won't be hanging the washing out.
Bought the last of DD's uniform yesterday and guess what? Putting her to bed last night she was complaining that both ankles hurt. That's a sure sign that she is ready for a growing spurt (well, that and the fact that she is looking quite plump around the middle, which looks strange on her). I just hope all the clothes still fit her once the spurt has finished.
Hugs to those who are feeling under the weather or just need them.
Oooooh! the sun has come out. Should I chance hanging a load out to dry???
No, nature is playing games with me. Sun has gone again.
Oh well, time for tea and toast methinks. Have a great day everyone."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning all,
Op went ok was really groggy when I got home, couldn't work the tv remote let alone the lap top :rotfl:
Everything is fine, slightly active UC but other than that in a bit of pain today. I was given extra sedation this time, as I woke up halfway throgh last time, but apparently I still ended up fighting and managed to pull the needle out of my hand, blood everywhere.:o
Today I will be resting, maybe put aload in the WM.
Thanks again for all the wishes.0 -

Morning all:hello:
One day I'll be up early enough to do individual hellos but at the moment the only thing that's stuck in my mind is whoever's off to Cadbury's World - have a few squares for me!
Anyway, still writing up here - I have do redo some of the computer models I've been working on so that's about another week's worth of work - my own fault that I have to redo them so I'm not best pleased:mad: DH is at home this morning as he has a stack of reading to do for work and won't get it done in the office, which means that the washing can't go on until this afternoon. Oh well.
Put the Easiyo "on" last night so had weetabix with yoghurt and honey for breakfast. Lunch is hummus and mango chutney sandwiches on HM bread (note to self: more bread needed soon). Dinner will be pizza. Planning on using some of the yoghurt to do tandoori salmon - I got the salmon on a Tesco misprice so am well pleased with that!
I'm also resisting the urge to make a lemon bundt cake with the yoghurt - I bought a great kugelhopf mould from Tchibo and a bundt cake would look great in it. My only worry is eating it all afterwards!
Have a good day everyone!0 -

Morning everyone
Working in school today, so I won't be on the chat line.
We had a bad week last week, ran out of money as hubby's last paycheque bounced, it was only £127 but it would have helped a lot.
Because I did such a big shop in July, we have enough food for evening meals to last us for another week, but breakfast & lunches are proving to be a real problem. If I have to eat toast many more times, I'll scream. Normally I love it but we have now run out of toppings even margerine & so am reduced to eating it dry, for breakfast & lunch, roll on tomorrow when I get paid. I can't wait to splash out on peanut butter & marmite!
Hugs to all who need them.
Hester

Morning all.
Nippy this morning although a lovely bright day so far.
Didn't get blackberries last night but did manage to sew an apron, and had enough material to cut out another, with nice big pockets for dusters etc.
Today at work, then home to cook and prepare picnic for trip to Warwick Castle (free tickets - yay!)
Icemaiden - can I ask how you cope with anaemia? I am trying to build up my iron store, it can really drag you down can't it? Good luck to Kyle with this as well.
ageandjo - sounds like you need a hug today:grouphug:
Queenie - PHEW! just reading that makes me want to lie down.
Pooky - getting bumped in the lion enclosure is not good! Reminds me of the time on a very hot day at West Mids Safari Park when our old Ford Orion overheated in the lions enclosure - not funny being stuck in there waiting for it to cool down enough to start the engine. Later that day we heard a chap telling another about the poor sods he'd seen earlier:rolleyes:
I must do some work so hope everyone has a good day
doddsyWe must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

Good Morning All
(((hugs))) to those who need/want them.
Just a quick post today as still sooo busy.
Yesterday got school shoes and last bits of uniform - for those of you going today - Good Luck - omg was it busy yesterday - went to Chelmsford as it has loads of shoe shops and think DD went in each one. Also needed a 2nd mortgage to pay for all the trainers I needed. Oh well its done now just got to start labelling but they will have to wait for another day as have got loads of office work then after that my mission is washing and ironing. Will have to ignore the house work for another day but I am getting good at that!
Not sure about lunch but am hoping to finish work in time to make shepherds pie for tea.
Off now - have a great day.
PS
Welcome Dumpy - I agree with you livery yards are terrible - much more !!!!!y than any office Ive worked in - Ageandjo - hope your horse gets better soon.0
