Hello everybody,
Tried to post last night but something was wrong with the site.It kept saying it was down for maintenance. We got a good load of stuff yesterday but while we were unpacking realised they forgot to include one of our kitchen benches. They are bringing it out on Friday. Off to town again tomorrow to get more stuff. Taking Bombi this time and not the truck. The guy who I bought the shower screen off is chinese. Didn't speak very well aussie and it was so hard for me to understand his directions. I thought he kept saying he lived at Kings Cross. I said that's in Sydney. We are IN Brisbane.
Anyway the suburb was Acacia Ridge. Took all of 15 mins to get that far.
My puter is playing up again. So DD is going to ring him tomorrow for me. We will no doubt take it back to him on Wednesday. DH has an interview on Wed too. I will go in with him and do some grocery shopping afterwards. The best news is the last bit..............its raining. :j :j :j Yeahhhhhhhhh
Snowy Why don't you give your little furballs a trim? I thought you could get special combs that as you combed them the hair came out. Either that or buy them a hair net.
TM Glad to hear you enjoyed your cruise. We went on one a few years ago for 9 nights. We also put on weight.
Enjoy your Bank holiday whatever that is.But a holiday has to be good. Talk later. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (((((hugs))))))
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Oh I'm really fed up now! Mum has just phoned me to ask if I wanted a book, there is only a huge bootsale on in the next town over!! She never bothers phoning before she goes to let me know there is one on, she does this to me every time and I am getting so fed up. She constantly phones when she is there to ask what crap she should buy for me when all the good things I really want are flying off to other peopleOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things
F U Fund currently at £2500 -
Aw moggins ((hugs)) I love boot sales, there is a massive one here today I would have loved to have gone too.0

My parents are extremely well off and gave my daughter £10 for passing her A-Levels. She is about to start Uni and we bought her a laptop ourselves. Wish my parents would do things like this. It would be such a help. You're lucky!Thing is, they call my husband mean!!!
Sorry you are having a bad time smashing blouse - hope you get sorted out soon.

MIL sitting tonight for the kids as popping into Bradford for a curry with friends, (seems to be our staple diet lately but so cheap) that could be the reason behind the toilet roll useage:D

Welcome Geordielass.
You'll all be sick of me posting today because i'm now having another break after preparing the mince for the SC and putting the gammon on, stripping beds and loading the WM and TD again.
Smashing Blouse - MUM had a colonoscopy etc a couple of weeks ago and now her consultant has told her that there was no sign of the big C and she didn't need to have another one now (she's 75).
Lynsayjane - well done you. I have tried joining gyms over the years but after a few weeks I get so tired that I get ill. Have resigned myself to being fat now but when I see the amount my colleague eats at lunchtime compared to me (one measly sandwich, no snacks) I could weep.
Moggins - sorry about the car boot, at least your mum did ring to check if you wanted something.
Been trying to get ds out of bed for the last hour - he stayed up till 4.00 this morning playing on his computer:mad: .
Must go now to load the DW and clear a wardrobe.
