Morning! :hello:
Off to see dd later today with "red cross parcel" as my Mum used to call it. Her contact lenses, an old saucepan of mine, a knife block as I managed to get a new one for us in the argos sale and some more of the fizzy drinks leftover from the party.
DD is having some problems sleeping (understandable after the mugging) and our chemist has been brilliant :A , even loaning me a book on herbal remedies. I guess going to your chemist for advice is quite ol style though.
Kaz - Envy you the car booty, Wales is so much better than the ones over here. Hope you find some great bargains.
Pen Pen - Hope your allergy clears up I know what a pain it is. Yesterday I visited a friend who has a lovely dog and by the end of the visit I had a full on hay fever attack! Quite upset really as I would love to have a dog again!
Taplady - Good luck at your car boot sale, hope you too find lots of great bargains! I am beginning to be tempted by our local one now!
Snowy - Hi! I burn things too at the moment, must be cos so much is going on at the moment. Our breadmaker is on its last legs (3 yrs old) and have had 2 failures this week so it looks like I will have to do some research and some saving up now.
Hello to everyone else! Off to get a late breakfast going now.

KAZ got so fed up with boxes we built the shed and shoved them in there, having two houses into one oh what fun, intend to sort them all out when she starts school..
As for my ex finding the house you have no chance, Ive told him i dont care if he dont find the house i will be happy to fetch her from anywere in aylesbury, he said HUh what if i dont find aylesbury i said thats ok she doesnt have to be at school till the 6th sept that should give you plenty of time lol, He said around dinnertime that should be around 1ish so i will post later what actual time he gets here... He wants me to meet him half way when he drops her off his one day in a fortnight that he said he would have her he only got her a extra night as its bank hols and he can spend all day looking to get here.. you would think we was in the back of beyond but its only Hour and half drive.. He was never on time when we lived 6 miles from him he got no chance living 67 miles away lol.. im looking forward to him having to make the effort.. only thing im not looking forward to is the moaning of my dd because he got lost lol

Morning all,
No OS at all for me today:o . My day today will be me laying on the bed (need to be near the loo) with the computer and loads of magazines with pints and pints of water to drink.
Not allowed any food now untill about 5pm tomorrow evening. feeling proper fed up today. Sometimes wonder why I ended up with bowel disease but then I suppose life goes on. DD10 bless her is dressed as a nurse and keeps making sure I am drinking. She has also put a keep clear note on the door.
DH has nipped out to get some DVD's and some food for him and DD to have later.

Morning everyone
Oh my I do love a Monday off work :j :j :j
Had 14 things on my to-do list this morning. Have so far done 4 of them. But one of them was the massive ironing pile I have been putting off for 2 weeks. Of course putting it off just means it gets bigger.
So loads more to do so really can't stay on here all day (that's the most difficult of all).
Hope everyone has a great Bank Holiday0 -

Morning all .......(((((((((HUGS)))))))))) to those who need them,
Bright shining morning, after an absolute deluge during the night, I know, I was awake!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH off for his second bowls day..... had a bit of a very senior momrent yesterday.... he came wandering down stairs,' I have lost a bowl! I need four tomorrow and I can only find three' search of the house reveals nothing......... he whittered on all day about his damn bowl and in the end I got so cross I started to look, found it on the table in my sewing room.... he had taken some things in there yesterday morning that needed ironing, obviously put the bowl down.... and then promptly put a couple of pillow cases on top of it!!!!!!!!!!!!! It took ages for my temper to calm down... he really drives me mental some days, its usually his glasses or car keys he can't find GGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Load of washing to go out, have just finished cleaning the bathroom and dusting the bedroom, will be off to get the dyson in a mo to do the floor, then ironing.... not a lot thanks to yesterdays wind a lot of the laundry did not need ironing, so just folded it and put it away.
Need to work on some lacy stuff on my embroidery machine, have a pattern for a lace covering for christmas tree ornaments I am going to try and also a doily. Cushion covers can wait, have one to make up, the rest are for kits, but I have to trace the design on to the top cover and stick the layers together.
Right coffee fix, hoover the floor, iron.................. soup for lunch, chicken for supper.................
