We went to the library this afternoon, called into Tesco and guess what, they had pukka pads, but the only one they had with the dividers in was the college one, so I did not buy one, very tempted, I had it in my hand, but put it down...................

Sorry PenPen. Hope I haven't offended you. You are right, of course - all these PPs are very confusing.
Hope you are well then!
Maybe we should start a new thread - find individual abbreviations for all the PPs on the site."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

hi everyone had a average day went shopping nothing exciting lol.. did go and pick up some prospectus's ( must learn to spell that one day) for the local college as something to do whilst my dd settles into her new school.. i will have to drive her there and back for about a year so thought i would do a part time course.. found one i liked but the part time is are you waiting for it... 1 hour a week for 33 weeks.. im sorry but that would bore me to tears.. so i checked out the full time and they around the 22 hour mark which is more of the part time i was thinking about.. why dont they make things simple these days lolThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear

Evening all
I've read the thread in stages today so no individual hellos just a general group hug.
We're off to inlaws for the long weekend, going to Longleat and legoland curtosy of Mr T's deals, and finding a nice Adams store to spend the vouchers curtosy of Mr Sainsburys and his promotion this week (my 3000 nectar points actually got made into £45 of Adams vouhcers - very handy for back to school shoes for DD's).
Took DD's to the cinema today and just been out for a drink with them and DH as the start of our week off treat. Helps that it's payday today and he got an extra £650 in overtime :j
I've not been near the oven all day - DD's have had toast for brekkie, pizza for lunch and more toast for tea - ah well - it won't hurt them once in a while.
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend whatever your upto. I won't be back until Wednesday so hope you're all well behaved until then"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

I am guessing that you are from Shotts or thereabouts. Would I be right? Just going by the clues you gave (the east of Lanarkshire but working in West Lothian). I am from Newmains but have lived in Preston for the last 17 years. Haven't lost the accent though. :rotfl:
Very good guess Annie - Harthill in fact. Went to school in Shotts.
How weird tho' I have just been to Newmains for dinner :rotfl:
