Hello all,
Hugs to Elona. I hope the funeral went as well as these things can, & that it was nice to be with family & friends & remember the happy times with your dad.
Glad to hear the valuation went well Rzl! I got my mortgage offer in the post on Saturday, woo hoo! Just need to get all the surveys, fixtures & fittings list etc from the solicitor now so we can check it & sign contracts ready for exchange. I'm hoping that might even be done by end of this week as we would ideally like to complete early Sep (we need to be out of our rented accomodation by Mid Sep!).
Well, I had a lovely time at my friend's wedding on Saturday. She looked beautiful, very elegant. The weather wasn't too kind, but they did manage to get most of the photos taken before the heavens opened!
I am trying to organise going back to college for the last part of my accountancy training. I'm hoping w**k will pay, & have just written a nice email to my boss, so fingers crossed! The start of term will probably coincode with the house move, but hey ho!

Well you completly have me hooked and my DH sends mega thanks!!
I have spend all day `os` style!!
Went shopping following meal plan shopping list, was back by 9.30 ( and that was with 2 of my 4 kids in tow lol).
I have JUST stopped cooking and sat down to catch up on todays posts.
I have made a shepards pie, chicken and veg pie, veg rissoto, enough portions of mashed potatoes for all week, chicken mayo for sandwiches for the week, chicken stock AND THIS IS THE BEST BIT....
I made my first loaf of bread, in my new breadmaker! And it was lovley, it only lasted 5 mins as kids and dear hubby got straight to work on it, so i now have it on the go again trying out onion bread!!
Had to tell someone as im so impressed Thanks everyone, without this site i would never have done today lol!!Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -
Dora, I know the feeling re. clashing timescales! I'm supposed to exchange by 18th Sept in order to qualify for a financial bonus from the HA - which would be VERY handy - and tbh I'm hoping I might complete by then if not a week or more before. The trouble is, when the heck do I move? I'm very very busy at work, basically until the 25th, so not really in a position to take time off!

Anyway, got to the cinema and film was pants, but DD liked it:D Popped into Morrisons after as we needed a few supplies and spent £30:o ....oooppps, but did get £20 worth free in BOGOFS though;)
Thanks for all the supportive comments about the cleaner. I put a special mark on each item and photographed it. Was a packet of tea-bags, bag of sugar and some penguin biccies that were in the fridge-but only marked the tea and sugar as this is what has been going missing. I think she thought that because I have a good storecupboard..I wouldnt notice:D Also odd things like a piece of fruit or a potatoe:rotfl: I now have about 50 items marked...LOL:p
Have a meeting in the morning here regarding the bathroom being replaced by a walk in shower so I can bathe pretty much independantly as I rely on OH ATM...poor guy! Then I think SIL is coming in the afternoon to help me out.
Im feeling really tired ATM, so am going to have a relaxing bath in a bit then probably an early night.
Hugs to all.
