The gym was rather too much like a gym for my liking, dorry:rotfl: Think I'd prefer it with cozy beds so I could just go up there for an hour's snooze!!:D

Afternoon all.............(((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) to those who need them.

Not feeling too happy today, some plans we had look like coming to naught thanks to OH not wanting to let go of his safety blanket. I am annoyed because I spent a lot of time and effort researching, also cash in fuel dashing round to try and find what he wanted GGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRR MEN!!!!!

Step son has not replaced the hoover at the flats where we do the staircases, so I have refused to take my dyson, its too b----y heavy to carry up 3 flights of stairs. I am not happy with him anyway........neither he or his partner appreciate the amount of time and effort we put in to keeping the stiars and the gardens looking neat........so am almost at the stage of telling him to put it where the sun don't shine....except I had to buy a new TV and need to put the cash back into our very depleated emergency fund.........you could say the black dog is really sitting on my shoulder this morning.

Elona...........I hope everything goes ok for you today....you will miss your Dad, but somehow a funeral marks the starting of a new period with new challanges..............

BR ..........great news, so we are on for the house warming then???????????

Dorry,

Salad Nicoise (as we do it):

Boil some potatoes (I use new) and leave to cool.
Boil eggs & leave to cool.
Boil some french beans, drain and leave to cool
Make salad - lettuce leaves, cucumber, tomatoes whatever you like in there.
Add french beans & potatoes to salad.
Peel hard boiled eggs & quarter, add to salad.
Add a tin of drained tuna.
Season and dress with vinaigrette, toss salad.

Classically you should also add some black olives and chopped anchovies but DH hates olives and I hate anchovies so we don't.

Its gorgoeus with a glass of chilled rose.

Hehe! I think I'm going to have to schedule "housewarming slots" a couple of times a week for about six months, in order for my ickle pied-a-terre to accommodate all the friends who've asked about a housewarming party! ... BTW, I haven't forgotten your PM from the other week, I've been awful at responding to PMs lately as I've been busy and stressed ... The same goes for the Old Styler - you know who you are - who PM'd me offering to list all my decent clothes on ebay (as I need rid of them and am a bit ebayphobic! ) ... You are not forgotten

i like all of those ingredients, i will try this on wednesday for tea, the best bit is that it goes with my favourite wine rose!!!!!

penpen - A HA yes i did manage pg 1 today!! thats cos i was up early checking my emails for replies to my freecycle stuff! So its all "ladies" in the Hen House then!!!

my DH is really showing interest in you all, he knows some of your names/avatars and was tallying up who does what and lives where!!! I told him why dont you post yourself on the board!!:rotfl: I know he lurks on the technie board most of the time - betta be careful what i put on here now myself!

michelle - yes i feel more with it today, totally useless last week and tired so got nothing done, but now have got loads of stuff to get rid of on freecycle!
kazonline - oh yes it was lovelly, good job diets always start tomorrow!:rotfl: - I felt like moggins did the other week meeting her friends.
oh and trying to pose correctly in the photos so as not to acentuate the double chins:rotfl:

rzl - I too am ebayphobic - ive got stuff ive given away cos i think it will be too difficult listing on ebay and get it wrong!
