GEt buying those tickets Aussie lass .... yipee, I'm going to Aussie land, I'm going to Aussie Land, lol.
So much for Payplan.... just got a phone call and the end result is - we'll send you a pack for you to contact your creditors, if you need anymore help go to CAB (who by the way were total carp with me, more interested in making sure I filled out their funding forms than helping me - unusual I know, but that's what happened).
So, I guess it's back to burying myself in the garden.....

i'm tempted by the glass stuck in the top of the wall but told thats now illegal
if i could afford it i'd build it up so they can't get over, but since i share my garden with five other flats and noone else cares to use it i doubt they'd care for the kids destroying it!0 -
We're in the same situation with kids jumping over and vandalising the scout hut. We're raising charity cash to build a fence with a jagged top.
I *think* you can use glass if the wall is high enough someone can't accidently get caught on it and post signs.
You could of course put anti-vandal paint on the top (I'm sure engine grease would do the job... perhaps someone has an OS recipe) and again, put up the signs so you don't have to pay for clothing cleaning.
I most like the idea of putting a warning sign up for shooting and use the garden for target practice. Can't say they didn't get fair warning (BB Guns or paintball should give them a good run for your money!)Tim0 -
Hello everybody
Happy Birthday Catznine
Been a busy morning as we were out the door at 9am to take DS to physiotherapy (he has to go everyday this week). Then popped into town for some eggs - we will do some baking this afternoon as i have soome ingredients that are going out of date and i dont want to throw them out so thought i would do some baking and put them in the freezer.
Got a mountain of ironing to do but might put it off til tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning All!!
Well kids are sleeping lovely and late, was 8.30 this morning!! :j Unfortunately I slept really badly so am not feeling the full benefit today. We also had an attack of the dreaded nits so had to comb DD's hair this morning, took me hours, is it me or do you get 2 different types?
1) Couple of whoppers
2) Loads of teeny weeny ones (thats what DD had).
Yuck, yuck, yuck!
Anyway, yesterday cooked huge lunch, I was in the kitchen all day but it was pretty good, though I say so myself.
Did HM chicken liver pate, HM steak & kidney pie and finally rice pudding with a plum saucey, jammy type thing. Finally did choc brownies to have with coffee. Unfortunately, I burnt the rice pudding.:o so pudding was actually brownies and ice cream! Have never burnt rice pudding before and DS and DH are demanding it this week as they had been looking forward to it.
I think I have now done the majority of my jobs that need to be done before out laws ooops sorry in laws arrive. House just needs a general swish and then I'll be happy. Do need to do front garden though, but this blooming weather is not helping!!! Afraid I'm a summer girl, I'd live in a bikini if I could!! Hate layers and tights etc, so constricting, I shall feel very short changed if this is now autumn. Bet you any money the weather will improve the week after next when the kids go back to school!!
Breakfats: muesli
Lunch - left over steak and kidney
Dinner - salad nicoise
I'm completely garbling so think I should crack on and say
Elona - hope today is okay.
Catznine - Happy, happy birthday!!!
Poppycracker - hope things improve soon.
Tim_N - Welcome!!
I know I've missed lots of you, please forgive me and have a lovely day!!

they are such little !!!!!!s these days. i grew up on a council estate just like them but i'd never have broken into other folks gardens or given them half the cheek i got. upsets me too that the police do nowt. they run through the front throwing stones at the window, and i've even seen them stood throwing them at passing cars. was tempted to smach glass into the chuckies to deter them too (insert evil smiley here...the board could use some of them!)
if i didn't have a bit of a fear of dogs i'd buy a rotweiler and put it in a wee house in the garden. between that and the paintball gun (good idea, then the police could find them easily!) it'd be a bit of a death run!0 -
Kazonline,
Have you tried CCCS? They are excellent. PM me if you need any more info.
