  • Morning all

Enjoying my 1st proper day of my hols (yesterday was spent looking after my Dad) - have got the 3rd load of washing on already  DD and I are going to totally spring clean the house today - well that's the plan anyway :p

She's having a pool party tomorrow (sounds posh - but it's just a paddling pool in the back garden :rotfl: ) but looking at the weather I think we'll have to rethink and maybe have a movies/makeover/dancing girlie party. Thinking of making pizza for the food (can't get much cheaper than that!) and some popcorn for the movie. With maybe some little cakes for pudding.

(((((hugs))))) to elona - don't want to say too much, as from experience I know that people's kindness often makes you cry more (in a good way) - but wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts.

Anyway the house isn't going to tidy itself!! Off to tackle the bathroom first - wish me luck ;)
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    Morning all,

Looking forward to a peaceful morning as the kids are at a free summer scheme one of the local churches runs from 10 - 12. Still have masses of tidying to do from the holiday - we dumped everything in the sitting room on Sun night.

Spent half an hour in PC world last night measuring all the laptop cases to find one that will fit the new regs - dh is off tomorrow and his current case is miles too big. They looked at us really strangely in the shop when I got out my tape measure - I'm surprised they haven't had loads of people in doing the same.

It's raining here so I will have to use the TD - have managed to hardly use it since Easter. Have a chicken tonight so it will be lemon and garlic chicken with a vegetable rice. Might do jacket spuds for lunch.

Hugs to Elona - I'm thinking of you

    Helllloooooo

Hope you ae all well and big big hugs to those who need them.

All is well here in the house of Frey, today anyway, for some reason woke up dead on 6 in a really jovial (sp) mood.
I am determined to fight my depression at the momment as I keep sliding backwards:confused: Ah well life must go on.
I do catch up on here when i can, but feel very out of oldstyle at the momment, but have written out a meal plan and shopping list for the next 2 weeks, so will hopefully be back into the swing of things soon enough.
I am trying to organise the house and garden for a barbeque birthday party for my 2 youngest on saturday. I can't believe monkey girl is 3 and baby is almost 1, trying to do it as cheap and o/s as possible as money is pretty tight as I am trying to save.
I paid off the last of my debt last week and it feels fantastic, although I really hope I see the benifits and the cash I was using to pay it isn't just flittered away.
the house is now starting to look and feel like home, but boy it is taking long enough I can''t believe I have been here 4 months now.
I made I first blackberry and crab apple crumble on saturday, all freshly picked by the kids and myself of course:wink:
    hugs to all

freya hun it's good to see you back, I always find that when I think it's creeping up on me is to stay right here, people always cheer me up and remind me of how good life really is and how productive I can be so don't disappear because you feel low please?

You're not far from me, do you get to Swindon at all, I shall be coming down there soon to have a nosey for my christmas shopping.
