    Morning all
I'm a bit new to os but am feeling rather proud of gathering 5lbs of blackberries from the hedgerow on our lane in the last 2 days. Made a crumble last night, and freezer is full to bursting!

I'm taking myself to the doctors this morning because since last Wednesday night I have on and off been getting tummy cramps and nausea. Decided last night was too painful and going on for too long I text my boss and co worker last night to say what I was doing.

Feeling cream crackered from being a like a yoyo last night I I've just phoned my boss to say I'd see what the doctor said and phone him back later to tell him if I'd be in as I'm knackered.

My obviously newly skilled boss-come-doctor says it's going round (fair enough) and he's had it and just got on with it. In otherwords not happy about me taking a day off. I can't darned well remeber the last sick day off I had so it's not like I always do this or anything and one of my collegues who's never on time for his shift has been known on many occasion to call in sick after too much to drink the night before. Not sure if I see the fariness there.

Then he proceeded to have a pop about an email I'd sent to our project manager about some work I was still waiting for guidance from him for and only sent it to her because she asked for details. He told me the emails were rude.

I'm knackered and now thanks to him emotional. I'd like to call him the name I am thinking right now but even if I part cencored I don't want to be banned from here.

Sorry guys, I'm just really angry. I would place bets on the fact that this has everything to do with the fact I accepted an internal transfer last week. And he's just reconfirmed on of my main reasons for having looked elsewhere

Morning all.....(((((((HUGS))))) to those who need them.

Another grey morning, but dry, so the washing should dry on the line, had black knickers festooned around the living room all yesterday!!!!!

OH has gone off grass cutting........ he has an appointment at Tesco this afternoon for them to replace his glasses. I have told him he is not getting anymore from there b****r the points, he needs decent quaility ones..... we are a tight enough budget as it is without him having to replace his glasses every year.

Need to get my topup fruit, no veg needed we have all we need and more besides just now.......so a visit to the market is on the cards......

Thats it really for today.... have a good one.........

  • Thanks for the birthday greetings Icemaiden, not been up long myself as I "had a few" last night, just as a pre birthday warm up you understand. Not a lot to do here, some flooring to lay and the garden bin to get filled for tomorrow, then a mega tidy of the moving in boxes  (Why do we keep all this rammel?) I went to the Hospice Shop yesterday and gave my big stuff away to them and warned them to arrive with at least two blokes! Such is the joy of moving to a Hobbit Sized house. All I need now is builder to knock my kitchen wall down for me. Other than that there isn't a lot to report from Proctalia Towers. I may be back later - It depends on how much coffee I manage to get down :D.

Morning all :D ... Didn't get back on here yesterday afternoon, so first of all, BIG HUGS :grouphug: to elona and family, stay strong hun, it does sound like he had the sort of death we hope we will all have ... From what you've said, it sounds like the hospice really took brilliant care of him over the last little while :) ... Onto other things, it's lovely to see so many new faces on the daily thread this morning! ... Nice to know our little fraternity is growing healthily :D ... Can't stop long this morning ... Am STILL chasing for the draft contracts of sale from the HA's solicitor ... the HA chased them yesterday, and I think I'll drop them an email myself later ... Put a rocket up their @rse ... I've got £2,000 riding on exchanging by 18th September (a cashback deal), which would make the difference between being really strapped for cash for a few months after moving, and being able to carry on more or less "business as usual" budget-wise ... and MY solicitor can't do a darn thing until the contracts come through ...:mad::mad: ... I'm having an early night tonight ... could barely raise my head from the pillow this morning :o ... Anyway, got to go, ((((hugs)))) again to elona ... Bye ... Rzl  xx

Speak for yourself, I'd demand an epidural at the very least:rotfl:

Morning All:hello: & a special hello to all Newbie OS'ers:dance:

:grouphug: as needed, especially to Elona.

Well, I have a carrier bag of plums which hubby bought home last night so think I better get cooking, think I will just cook & freeze for now as I don't know what to do with them.

Hubby has gone down to Dover for the day so our dog is stuck at home with me instead of being at work with hubby as is the norm. Is he the only dog who sulks? Will take him for a walk along the river later & do some blackberrying whilst I'm there:D

Lunch is quiche, dinner is spicy spag bol made from leftover Mexican mince & leftover party pasta:D

I'm trying to get to grips with my Xmas pressie list for my family, but inspriation seems to have deserted me this year:confused:
