I have not been able to get on with the knitting as DD is being a pain but I have bought 12 books from the Book People for the grand total of £7.97 and a load of toiletries from Avon which will make 3 pamper baskets for christmas, spent £22 there and got a bonus gift bag for spending over £20.
Yes I have loads of them:T0 -

Ooops! I always enlarge the print to see what I have typed easily (my age I'm afraid!:o ) but normally I downsize it before I submit message only today I forgot and had to change it later on! (probably exhaustion setting in after the adventures of yesterday)Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Afternoon All
Just typed a long post and just as was about to post it my wireless connection broke down so am typing this quickly in case it happens again so please excuse and bad spelling.
As woke up to bad weather have used opportunity to do some cleaning - have decluttered and cleaned dd's bedroom and have deep cleaned a 1/3 of the kitchen (break it down into sections as would get overwhelmed otherwise) am just about to toast some teacakes as a snack for everyone then will get on again.
Will also do a little paperwork this afternoon so can get a head start on the week. All ironing was done yesterday:j and took kids out also so they are quite happy hanging around the house today. If it dries up will take them for a walk along the sea wall later. So all in all feeling quite productive and positive today, I havnt felt like that for a while, so apologies if my posts lately have been a little on the down side - I think I suffer more than the children when my routine is changed.
Anyway gonna get off now - Hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend.
L - was bacon sandwhiches
D - grilled pork chops, j pots and roasted pepper onions and mushrooms.

Hello everyone
Sorry I haven't been around as much but so much to do.
Since I've been back from taking DS's and mum away for a few days, I've been up to my eyes in laundry. Then had neighbour's boys for the day and then Mr TM came home and filled the washing basket againBetween that and trying to keep the house clean and entertain small children, it's been never ending.
However, today I had a lie-in (aka getting up at 7 am to give DS2 breakfast then returning to bed where both boys decided to use me as their trampoline until 8.30am when I could finally get across to Mr TM that it was his turn to see the kids!! It was 9.30 when he took them to church!!
So, today I have managed to put the Bm on, the Dw, the WM ( a couple of times) as well as make myself a lovely late cooked breakfast. The I went into town and having not meant to buy much, spent a fortune on a gorgeous business suit and some new shoes - will come in handy when I have my bank meeting tomorrow
Came home and made a scrumptious roast chicken dinner and have put boys to bed now (started this reply about 3 hours ago) Will put suit on again with shoes to see if the trousers need shortening (although I fear I have had one too many sherries for needlecraft :rotfl:)
Want to say hello to the newbies (squishy) and ((hugs)) to those in need, esp Catz and DD and those with sick relatives.
Ok, off to have a sobering coffee, then a long hot bath and I may catch the re-run of Corrie. Hope you all have a good night.

evening everyone.
been a bit lazy today after rushing around and doing so much yesterday. Didn't even get up till 10:30.
DH sorted his car out ready for the switch to the new one tomorrow. :T
Then we did a quick supermarket shop, had lunch and read the papers, and then went to see the pirates of the carribean 2. A bit long i thought, but then again any length of time sat is too long for me at the moment as i keep getting back ache.
We are just cooking sausages and mash for tea, as we had a local plasterer round at 8 to do us a quote. he's going to do the work next saturday, so we should be able to go and buy paint next sunday and actually start to see some improvements. Sounds like i may get away with a bit of a me time week, and i've already arranged a lunch with work mates.
sounds like a good day for most of you.
welcome to squishy.
hope spuds birthday party was ok, and of course birthday hugs for elona too.
see you all tomorrow for yet another monday.

Hi all,
Busy day today - tidied and dusted the study - wea re so messy with paperwork  . Also started to declutter bedroom and made huge chilli in the slow cooker which should do another two meals but DS will probably snack on most of it.
We also came to a big decision about the house - we have an old conservatory on the house which we were going to try to replace cheaply until we could afford to extend the house properly along the back. Anyway it would cost about £3,000 to replace so we've decided to bite the bullet and go for the extension now. The house really does need updating- it's four beds with only one bathroom and the kitchen units were there when we moved in 24 years ago. Mind you they are still in excellent condition and the worktop has hardly a mark on it, just old fashioned and not a good layout. So we're going to put in a downstairs shower room and a utility room and extend the kitchen and dining room.:T By the time it's ready to be built I reckon DS will have finished UNI giving us another £500 a month to pay for it.0
