Welcome back PP
Did you have a nice time down here??
What did you do?
We missed your morning posts:T :T :T0 -
Hello Again!
Well, last wash in machine as I type. Chicken nearly cooked and spuds now in too. Batter made for yorkies and stuffing knocked together-just needs 15 mins in oven.
I really dont feel too good today and have come up in bruises all over legs and arms, so may have to get to Warfarin clinic ASAP as my bloods are off. Right leg is really hurting and thats where the damaged artery is with the clot.
OH has just text me to say that his sister and BIL are moving round the corner to us next month and cant stand either of them. They are bad parents, rude and ignorant too and have been reported to social services so many times, I am surprised that they still have their kidsthey have had to recently signs forms (to say they wont touch the kids)and kids are on protection register-so at least they are being kept an eye on. Dont have anything to do with them, but no kid deserves that! Anyway......
Really need to dye my hair today, so OH is helping this afternoon with it.
AgeandJo-Had a great holiday:D Went to Pagham Bootsale (about 10 stalls:rotfl: ), Bognor, Portsmouth and Chichester. Also had a few drives out and me new wheels were excellent. Was a busy holiday and rested when I could, but felt good a couple of days so did more than I should have done:o ...well we only live once:p Mum & I had some good chats and sorted a few things I needed to with her. Ive blamed her for many years because of what happened to me as a child and she should have protected me, but I can now see that she didnt know and how would I know if something was happening to my DD...anyway-although I can appreciate what she has said, I still dont fully comprehend it as so many signs were there and she knew history...but we talked and got some stuff sorted so thats good!
Hope your all ok and having a nice day.

Hope you feel better soon PP
The bolognese sauce is now simmering gently on the hob and whilst I was picking through a pack of bacon bits I found 3 decent sized whole rashers
So I am now tucking into a bacon buttie and a christmas pudding flavoured cappucinoOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Glad you had a fab time PP, the weather was pretty good too for you, shame about today it's raining here. Glad you had a chance to chat to your mum, perhaps this could be a slow new start for you both?
Take care0 -
Morning everyone
Happy Birthday Elona
Lillibet - Have a great day - indoors or out.
PP - Glad you had a good holiday
Catznine - What a terrible thing to have happened to your daughter.
Everyone else - have a great Sunday
Nothing much on the agenda for today. Have stripped the bed and waiting on the washing machine finishing.
Might do some ironing but then again maybe not.
Been doing some Greasypalm-ing. So far in August I have "earned" £57.64 :j :j :j. Hubby says I am addicted but its fine as it suits my personality
First day in new job yesterday. I have a habit of panicking over things and worrying myself sick. So much so on Friday night I cried myself to sleep  I must get a grip. It's only a job! Anyway not as bad as I thought. I survived!
Must go as hubby is trying to hoover round me so I really should move0 -
Good afternoon everyone.
DFC I hope you're feeling a bit better this morning.
Shez Well done on your flylady blitz in the kitchen...I bet you feel better for it.
arnie&casiesma Enjoy your days off! Good luck with the family tree.
Lillibet I'm so sorry it's raining...you put so much effort into planning today, try to relax now and just enjoy it.
kiwichick You must be exhausted. I hope you get a better nights sleep tonight.
Amanda Have a good day at work. I'm looking forward to hearing how you get on with your yoghurt maker.
Penny Pincher I always feel like I need another holiday by the time I've sorted all the laundry after ours.
twink I hope the car goes ok today. Cars always seem to go wrong when you can least afford to fix them...at least mine does.
catznine What a lovely post! I'm glad that you're able to see the positive side of things after such a rotten weekend. ps what are you doing with your font size? It was enormous when I first looked and now I need glasses to read it
poppycracker Your post about your plants made me smile, hopefully the plants will perk up again soon.
Glad I hope you have a good sleep and enjoy your lamb. Mr P does a great roast, but he [strike]won't[/strike] can't do gravy either.
ageandjo Good luck with your cleaning.
tootles Sorry your bootsale was rained off.
moggins You sound really cheerful this morning! I hope you get your scarf finished.
kyle I'm glad your little one is sleeping better.
elona It sounds like you had a lovely start to your birthday, I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
The sun is shining here again....we always seem to have the opposite weather from you. I had a lovely lie in this morning. I really love my weekend off! All I've done today is make brunch for us all as it was too late for breakfast, and feed and play with the kitten.
She really is delightful, although she seems to think she's a dog....her favourite game is fetch. We throw her mouse and she dashes to catch it and brings it back and drops it at our feet. The really great thing about her, that I wasn't expecting, is that she's been here two days now and hasn't once jumped up on the kitchen units! I thought I was going to have to train her not to do it, but she seems to know she's not allowed. :j Can you tell how much I love her already?
I'm going to make a pavlova now as we're going out this afternoon to a barbeque and I want to take something with me. It's a long time since I've made one, so fingers crossed it will work.
I hope everyone has a great Sunday!:)
