twink is my fmil (and I know she has refered to me before, so can now use a name if she likes!) and kyle is my fsil.

Front room done but I have scratched our laminate flooring by pulling out the dresser without lifting it:mad:
Kitchen washed down, all floors hoovered and mopped. WM has been on with 1 load because it's raining here:rolleyes:
Put oven on to heat up then roast chicken for dinner:T
Just been reading my BM manual, how do you all make rolls in the BM??
I am still in my nightie so I need a shower and hair wash too but I shall do that after I have cleaned the bathroom:T

There is a recipe in the booklet for dough for bread rolls that takes about one and a half hours - remove dough - shape into rolls place on baking tray - cover with tea towel for 3o mins for dough to rise and then bake for about 20 mins in hot oven.

It's been a big day and I'm off to bed. Uncle Bill was a lot more frail this time. We saw him about 6 months ago. Still sharp as a tack though. He's 94. Went to the winery & got 7 bottles. Buy 6 & get 1 free.;) Had a few tastes but stuck to the red we have bought in the past.

It's so dry. The countryside is usually green during winter. If we don't get rain soon it's going to be a time bomb come summer when it's bushfire season. It's critical point now.

Glad to hear you got a few things sorted out with your Mum PP. But even if things don't pan out at least you can draw comfort that you've broken the cycle with your DD and formed a good relationship with her.

One hours work done on the rug, my time estimation looks just about right. The bolognese sauce is now cooling down before I put it into tubs and then into the freezer. DD is eating her lunch so no more CSI for me until I can get her on the dining room computer. I still can't get any more washing on the line with this weather so I have shoved a pile of wet jeans into the dryer.

Omlettes have changed into fritatta as I need to use up the last of the bacon and a pepper that are sitting in the fridge. I'm just going to sit and read some more of the Tightwad Gazette until DD has finished then CSI is going back on again and I will commence the knitting
