  • Afternoon All :j

I need someone to give me a big kick up the a**e :p I'm "tidying and cleaning" our bedroom, I've done half of it - but now I'm procrastinating :o

Started the day with a big fry up - yum

DD had sandwiches for lunch, dinner will be Ranchereo Pie - many thanks to whoever posted that recipe - it has gone down a storm in this house :D

My Dad is poorly at the mo, he has cystic fibrosis anyway, but he fell off a ladder and cracked his rib and punctured his lung  He was in hospital - but then came out. He's now got an infection and had to be blue lighted back into hospital for the last 4 days having his lung drained. Anyway we went to pick him up from hospital yesterday (about 70 mile round trip) and took him home - he looks so frail and .. well ill! I was really worried and phoned my uncle when we got home and asked him to look in on him today - he was worried and phoned the hospital back up for advice and they told him to call an ambulance (which he did) the paramedics came out and looked at him but were happy enough to leave him in bed. My dad was not so happy and has really laid into my uncle for calling an ambulance - and it's all my fault. I'm going over to my Dad's tomorrow with DD to look after him - but it makes me so mad he won't accept any help - but if he doesn't rest he'll be back in hospital again - parents!!!!!!! Anyway rant over - just wanted to get it off my chest

    Take care everyone - byee
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

DD is being and absolute pain today, think shes teething again as she wont let me out of her sight and once to sit on my lap. In between dealing with her I've done some ironing, made a banana loaf and done acouple of loads of washing. Having left over chicken and chips for tea. Got to go and get the things ready for work and grandmas tomorrow

I just pop what ever spare veggies and meat I have (chopped into bite size pieces) into a frying pan and saute gently, then I pour the beaten eggs over the top and let it cook until almost set, then I pop the frying pan under the grill for a minute or so until the top is set nicely.

Do you mean paper cases? Or a muffin tin? The tin will work and you will get nice individual ones but if you mean paper cases then not really as you have to heat the oil up in the oven before you pour the batter in.

    Hello everyone :)
Was up at 6.20 awoken by ds1 who had wet the bed :( so I have to make more laundry gloop later. By 8am I had made him and me a cooked breakfast, cleaned the cooker, swept the hall (it's big) folded and put away a load of laundry and emptied the dishwasher, and made a cake.
DS2 rose late - after 9! He helped me make a summer pudding with the blackberries OH picked yesterday:) YUM but it's all gone already :(
Had roast chicken and veg for lunch, so Im making a chicken lasagne tomorrow - i think. Sounds a bit wrong to me but I am going to give it a try.
Been in to town with the boys to get shoes for the wedding - both have a smart pair of leather shoes each now and only £18 for the 2 pairs :)
Soup and hm bread (which I did last night) then cake and custard for tea, followed by some sewing on of buttons and a bit of decluttering, and watching the IT crowd with DD again - makes me cry with laughter.

ageandjo do you not have a pyrex dish you could use instead?

I have not been able to get on with the knitting as DD is being a pain but I have bought 12 books from the Book People for the grand total of £7.97 and a load of toiletries from Avon which will make 3 pamper baskets for christmas, spent £22 there and got a bonus gift bag for spending over £20.
