yay - i just found out that my first bits that i had freecycled are 'wanted' so i will very soon have got rid of my dining room furniture, which will speed up the house redecorating.
Vicky - our wedding list stuff is taking up the spare room (both in the wardrobes and on top) and i can't wait to get it out properly and start using it once we are redecorated. John Lewis are really good. Everything came in boxes and was well wrapped up, so it was quite easy to store.0 -

purpleprincess - are you still using your washing ball i sent you?
oh darn...just dropped tomato on my trousers!0 -
For all you wedding listers : we decided against a wedding list for the space reason too, and we dont move in to our new house until about 5 month afttr the wedding so i dont fancy living in a jumble sale till then.
Quite sad in a way as i would have really liked to have received little pressies and parcels *sniff sniff sob sob*
BUT... we've asked for argos/ikea vouchers so hopefully we can stock up on goodies over the christmas sales!!
I might ask everyone to send me their vouchers in parcel boxes *giggle*0 -
((((Hugs)))) Shez - we all have "one of those days" occasionally ... How old is DS1? Old enough to be told to move out/take responsibility for his own life? ... Yes, I'm delighted that finally my solicitors are in a position to DO something ... whether they actually do or not remains to be seen  but at least the ball's back in "our" court ... Lynsayjane, I know what you mean about having "technical Sundays" (I used to work Sat/Sun in a greengrocer's when I was a student, but didn't have any lectures on Mondays) ... VickyA (or VickyR
) good luck with unpacking all those wedding presents ... My friends who are getting married at the end of next month are using https://www.wrapit.co.uk ... I can understand them collecting the different bits of a v. expensive dinner service (I've ordered them half a set of ramekin dishes - LOL) but as for the dirty linen basket costing £150 :eek: ... I don't know anybody else whose dirty pants need the gold-plated treatment :rotfl::rotfl: and my friends got a VERY healthy income between them (enough to buy a house with a garden in quite a posh bit of South West London) - I'm intrigued as to whether anybody will actually agree to buy the linen basket, or whether they'll have to fork out themselves!
