Rzl - two of my semi-high earning friends have recently got married (on Saturday!) and their list had loads of expensive stuff on. This includes a DVD player at £199 (ours cost £30 from Tesco....), stereo system at £199 and a camcorder! We tried to make sure that our list had lots of things that were affordable and good quality. My mum still has her dinner service in full working order after 33 years :D

Sorry everyone - it had been building for a while and suddenly got the better of me.
I've just eaten a load of seeds and combined with venting on here and your support I allready feel much better.
I'm going to indulge in an hour of tv and then attempt to straighten the place a little. As for the finances - I know you're right moggins, but I'm really too scared.
I'm really looking forward to meeting on Thursday Moggins, just pm me when you're ready to sort things out.
Hugs to anyone else that needs - I don't think I'll have the chance to read all the post today as I have to go to a meeting tonight - and I'm not much use to anyone right now anyhow, lol.
    Best wishes, and THANK YOU,
    Kaz x

    Wedding lists:

I have just found part of the wedding list for our friends' DD's wedding back in June. The bride was their eldest daughter (they have 10 children) so as you can imagine this was definitely an OS wedding! But terrific fun, a really wonderful time! On the part of the wedding list I have got, there are things like a linen bin for £5.99, a folding airer or a doormat for £7.99 and Argos vouchers for £20, £10 & £5! A far cry from £150 linen bins or overpriced DVD players!

Totally fed up with the way the day is going. DS is being as obstructive as he can possibly be so I have had to cancel the blackberrying. I'm going to settle down on the sofa with a few episodes of NCIS and finish the rug and maybe start on another scarf.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.
