Well done you :T0

I'm so impressed - you'll be wearing Mrs. Beeton's apron and buying a canning machine next! The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

Blimey  All in one day....I am super impressed. :T0

Ohhh no site all afternoon......well I suppose it made me go and do something else more productive....
These are the sort of cards I make, DH has been selling them at work and they're doing really well...had loads of orders for specific ages/themes etc and they've all asked that he take them back in this week.

Afternoon everyone.
(((Hugs))) to elona. I know what your going through. It was a month today since my nan died and still so much to do. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Well today has been very un-os for me, in fact it has been very expensive. I had to book a skip as there is still so much to get out of nan's house, that cost me £164!!!! half of which I will be claiming back from my brother.
Have booked my daughters 11th birthday party for october, and ordered her present, a day with a zoo keeper at Dudley zoo. She want's to be a vet in a zoo so thought this would be a great taster for her.
Other than that a bit if tidying and to-ing and fro-ing.
Something quick for tea then to B&Q for paint. More money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Am feeling thoroughly p****d off!! Just checked the bank account and have only got £30 to last us till next Wednesday  We've got plenty of food in - but because my Dad can't get to the bank he asked to borrow some money off us - which I said of course, before checking the bank balance
I've taken the money out for him - so he'll get it. The trouble is he gave me a cheque for the money - but because our bank is soooo slow (IF) it won't clear till next Wednesday at the earliest - maybe later  Only consolation is that maybe DH has put his expenses in today (£67) so that might hit our bank account Friday.
Anyway after my high spirits earlier - DD and I have only managed to do her bedroom and the bathroom - well it's startSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -

oh well that explains it all then....:rotfl:
Have done diddly squat all afternoon - promptly fell asleep after lunch. I think I need to work out a plan of action for tomorrow so that I don't end up doing the same again....
Moggins - this is really selfish of me, but it's really nice to hear that you are just going to sit down with your rug this afternoon. I think a big part of my problem is that while I do take time out in the respect that I sit down and watch TV, deep down I'm feeling so guilty I'm exhausting myself mentally - hence the constant falling asleep!
Ok, I've an hour now in which I can give myself a swift kick and get some flying done. This time I'm really going to set to it ....

Just had a look at those cards of your pooky - they're all great, but my fave I think is the Simpson one in the 3rd link, and all in the last link. Have you conisdered ebaying them? I'm sure they'd be really popular.
