Moggins I try not to go on the dt board much as some people get very angry:eek: .It's best to stay here where people talk about bread machines and jam:D ( Btw I agree with your point;) )Come back soon.

I've spent most of the day looking a pics of lunchboxes:D Prettypennies posted some fab links about bento boxes on this thread

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=242606

I want to buy laptop lunch boxes for my OH and kids NOW ! They are expensive though and they're American so that's extra money for shipping and import duty and whatnot, but I want them:D Feeling really inspired:)

Just had a lovely chicken and cheese sauce dish for supper followed by strawberries and hm yogurt. Ate too much again though:rolleyes:
Got a bottle of red open ready for an evening in front of the telly watching The Shawshank Redemption on Film4.

Have a relaxing Friday evening everyone.

    Well hello there folks!

Welcome back VickyR (you just know you're gonna have to change your MSE name!) ... look forward to hearing about the wedding and seeing photo's.

DH went and picked up "my" new greenhouse (new that is to me!) ... we've got several broken panes of glass, but hey ... I've got a greenhouse! Now I've just got to suss out what I can do with it, LOL. That is, once we've levelled enough ground to put a base in etc.

Today has been fairly unproductive OS wise, except for 3 loads of washing, and I've almost finished the hall curtain. Except that I had a bit of disaster with that .. and overlocked through the good bit (that meaning .. I've cut the fabric .. doh doh doh) I'm surprised you all didn't hear me cursing from here.

Right, I'm absolutely shattered, so I'm going to retire to bed with a V 'n' O .... my w/e is going to be short .... tmw I may take DD out for the afternoon, Sunday is working :(

For whoever was asking "DT" is "Discussion Time" on the Money Savers Arms. But that's all I know.

AussieLass - you made a comment yesterday which I thought (it may have been the day b4, I'm losing track!) was very wise ..... that some years are better than others in marriage .... I like that, it gives a sense of permanence, whilst my DH and I have our good moments and our horrendous moments we never contemplate a life w/o each other .. buried under the patio maybe ... but never w/o each other. Thank you.

No bag and shoes but as i took my 12 year old with me - then not surprising.

Nearly bought a dress for the wedding instead of the one I already had but felt it made me look too much like a "lady of a certain age and weight "if you know what I mean! Matronly!!!

I worked out what upset you and i can see why - in the words of the immortal Rabbie Burns "A man's a man for a that!"

Went to see my Dad and he is getting weaker fast - the medication for pain seems to be making him confused - but he still knew where he was etc and the visits are enjoyed - if that is the right word! It is suddenly hitting home!
