Just having a coffee while disheasher is on and need to hang out another load of washing on the line.

When DH gets back hope to get a lift into York or Castleford to look for shoes and bag - he always arrives home too late to go shopping!

The chemist near us has a sign saying they will do emergency prsecriptions for a couple of days if people run out but I think they charge more for this.

    Hugs to everyone.

Back from shopping with the parents and Lidl is now selling sushi!! Mum treated me to a box so now it is stashed in the freezer ready for a secret munch tomorrow night when DH has gone to work and DD is in bed, yes I know she is only 5 but she has a weakness for Sushi! She won't eat Wasabi yet though :D Mum also treated DD to a pack of smoked salmon so she is demanding that for tea, anyone have any ideas what I can serve it up with?

    Hello everyone :hello:

Happy anniversaries and birthdays for today and the past week as appropriate :j

Had my few days in the lakes with the boys and my mother - come home for a rest now. Although I did rush off to Gullivers World with the boys and Aunty Nelski yesterday and a lovely time was had by all. Didn't have to queue for very much, which is always a bonus :D

Today I have been trying to make inroads into the mess that is Chez TM. The WM is on it's 3rd load, the DW has been repacked and will be going on after tea. The BM has produced a loaf of half and half, most of which was eaten at lunchtime. I have next door's boys here today too, which means that my 2 are entertained mainly. Tea will be pizzas with jacket spuds, cos it's quick and easy.

I've cleaned the hall and kitchen so far and managed a mountain of ironing last night. Just waiting for the kitchen floor to dry so I can resume downstairs. Other than that - nothing exciting to report.

The business is still going great guns. Huge amount of work to do, which isn't easy with all my other things I have to do. Never mind, I'll get there. Thanks to everyone who has pm'd me with messages of support etc. I am trying to reply to everyone, but bear with me if I don't get back as soon as you (or I) would like.

Right, boys all playing with water balloons - not a problem in itself except they are inside .... and DS2 has just found out you can't hold an untied full water balloon by sitting it in your hand :rotfl:

Have a good day and I'll catch up with you all soon .... I hope.

    TM xxx

    Hi,

Left in the office by myself this afternoon (not that there is a big staff at any time 2 full time and 1 part time). It gets very quiet on a Friday afternoon though, nobody seems to ring or call in.

I've failed totally in my plan to join in the flylady challenge this week, mainly because I've been out three evenings out of four. Will try to do better over the weekend.

I've started my shopping list, headed by raspberries and white chocolate:D .

Hairdresser at 9.00 in the morning though but only for a wet cut as they cancelled me last Friday and this was the only appt left with my stylist.

Left DS with strict instruction to tidy his room this morning - it smells of unwashed clothing, bleurgh.

Moggins, it sounds as if your DD is like mine was - champagne tastes very early and they don't grow out of it. DD was at a cocktail making comp (she was helping to organise it) this week - she ended up very drunk I think after the comp was over they went round the clubs and bars of Leeds being given free drinks. Soon she's off to Scotland to a distillery on a team bonding expedition and then later this year to Epernay for a champagne tasting course. I get to go on courses in Cemetery management, must have done something wrong somewhere :rotfl:
