Running out of a few food items at home so off to the supermarket after work. Will probably take the plunge and look at the reduced section to see if there are any bargains to be had! My worry is that I'll end up buying stuff that I don't need, even though it's reduced! Has anyone else done that, and then thought 'what am I going to do with this?'!!

    Have a good weekend!

Used to do this but am quite strict with myself now. Generally I buy meat from the reduced section - there always seems to be pork of some sort in our local tescos reduced and we all love this so always grab that as with any chicken. Dont tend to buy reduced fruit as to seem to waste that.

    Good Luck

    Hi All

Happy Anniversary to Pen Pen and Snoozer and respective other halves!!

Another day in the office. So far today I've interviewed Tommy Walsh from Ground Force and interviewing Des O'Conner later!!

Been very naughty this week. Ate out on Tuesday, went out for cocktails on Wednesday, out for dinner last night and going out for lunch on Sunday!! But it's all in the name of cheering up friends in need. So I'm not going to punish myself that much.

Hugs to all who need them

bargainrzl - gosh yr always on the go girl!!! good luck to ya, you only live once (or twice in Mr Bonds case) whats the price of tesco bombay sapp? i love that and have run out!
Well, I haven't had a night out since Monday this week - 2 nights out a week is the pattern I'd like to settle into, though this week is 3 (Monday, tonight and tomorrow) and the whole of June and July are always crazy! ... Bombay Sapphire is currently going at Tesco's for £12.24 for a 70cl bottle (a discount of £2), which is not as good as at Christmas when you can generally get a litre bottle for about £14 IIRC, but the temptation was too great as I had NO other spirits left in the house (and a Bombay Sapphire shaped space in the freezer - LOL) :D ... Topped that off with Tesco ownbrand slimline tonic (32p/litre) and Lidl limes (15p each) :D ... BTW, the Bombay Sapphire also has a promotion on at the moment, it comes in a box with a free c0cktail recipe booklet :)
