    Good morning everyone.

Not been posting for a while. Was away to Northern Ireland for 2 weeks on hols then as soon as I got back to work I got the chance of a new job (with the same company). Ummed and aahed about it for a bit but its more money, the same hours and a bit more responsibility. Have been on a training course for the last 2 weeks which has been very tiring and now starting tomorrow

Had a fab time on holiday. It was during the heatwave and there was days I thought I was abroad. Went to some great places and overall would recommend it to anyone as a place to visit.

    Plans for today are:

    * Hang up washing when its finished
    * Clean bathroom
    * Other rooms just need quick clean/tidy/hoover
    * Visit library and pick up books that are ordered
    * Go to bank and pay in my very first Greasypalm cheque :D

Well just thought I would pop on and say "hi"

Hugs to ageandjo, please try and get you OH to get an emergency prescription its not good to stop taking AD's suddenly.

Glad your feeling better Lillibet take babysteps, we all fall off the wagon sometimes, I've been rather naughty on the diposable nappy front at the moment but I'm hoping to get back on track this weekend.

Plan for the day is to get this house clean and tidy before my friend comes for lunch. Dont know if I'll acheive it as DD is in a clingy mood so its abit difficult to clean with a 20 month old attached to your hip. If I dont get it done I'll suggest we go the park instead as that should wear the little monkey out. Got to go shes just lost interest in Boogie Beebies.

    JHave a good day everyone

Ageandjo - Seems like everythings getting on top of you at the moment - if you need a rant, feel free to pm me.

Lillibet - Glad to hear your feeling a little more positive today - hope your mums birthday meal goes well and spuds picnic at the weekend.

Moggins - A whole weekend with just you and DD? Bliss I'm sure.....enjoy.

Happy Anniversary to Mrs and Mr Pen Pen and Mrs and Mr Snoozer

Day off for me today - house isn't looking to bad - well just don't look at the dust, it's fairly tidy though.

Need to attack the ironing pile and get DD's packed, they're going to stay with my parents for a few days. Been asked if we can have a baking/craft day with a trip to the park at some stage......fine by me - I like "no spend" days like this.

Hope you all have a great day and weekend, we're off to a nice hotel tomorrow night as a anniversary treat, will be taking a bottle of champagne with us that's been sitting in the cupboard since new year, refuse to pay hotel prices for some things.

    Morning All,

36_22_12.gifto Penny and Snoozer. Hope you both have a lovely day.

Off to playgroup in an hour or so, its very blowy outside so dont much fancy the walk. Am braving it with DS today, he only been in pants (big boy pants as we call 'em) since Monday so it will be a big day for him. Am packing a couple of change of clothes just in case.

Had the doorbell ring at 7.45 this morning, it was a delivery from neat ideas (there is a link on the freebies board) I ordered some files dividers for 94p and got a free picnic set worth £20 free :p, so that makes for a good start to the day.

Got to dash, kids screaming at me from all angles for more milk/clothes/food etc.

    Back later,
    Kiwi.

Morning all.......(((((HUGS))) to those who need them........phone call at 7.45 got me out of bed, so am up dressed and ready to go...... OH gone to the allotment, I have a little project to finish before I go to my quilting friends this afternoon, something I am considering for the craft fair....... want to see what she thinks........

Nice bright morning, but windy again, quite a breeze blowing in through the back bedroom window.

Nothing really planned, need to sort through the washing basket see what needs going into the wash, dont think I have a full load of anything right now, so if not it will wait over the weekend. OH playing bowls tomorrow afternoon, so I will have some me time.

I hope that things have settled down a bit on the flying front before we go to Paris, otherwsie I can see us not going to bed, Our flight is at 8am. so 5 am at the airport to check in uuuuuuuuugggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!! but its better to be safe than sorry. One thing that did occur to me, they are not letting people take bottled water airside, so for people who need to keep their liquid levels up they have to buy water, at inflated prices, when they get through to departures, as far as I know the airlines are not providing it free..............if you have to taste baby milk etc at check in why can they not check water the same way????? I resent being forced to pay over the odds for water..... Tesco's best at 16p does me fine.......another thing that worries me slightly, you have to put your car keys in your luggage to go in the hold.........if your case goes missing your details are on the luggage label, next thing car pinched????????

http://quilting.about.com for those of you interested in quilting, this is a site which has instructions for easy to make quilt blocks etc...........you do ned a certain amount of equipment for cutting accurate pieces, creative grids who have a website do a starter pack of cutting board, rotary cutter and a ruler at very reasonable prices.......no affiliation just use them quite a lot, very nice people, have stands at all the major quilt shows.

Right I am off for my caffine fix.......... will post yesterdays piccies later today on the webshots site for anyone who is interested, link on my something to look at page.........

    Good Morning All

    (((Ageandjo)))

    Happy Anniversary to Pen-Pen & Snoozer:T

Tootles I heard that some airports are already relaxing some of the rules - the car key thing would definately bother me. My short 2 hour flight recently turned into 5.5 hours and I hadnt taken any snacks - as I am slightly hypoglycemic and the kids were starving I bought a 'few' snackly bits on board (didnt include drinks-they were free) and it came to £9.50!! I am at the moment awaiting a reply to my complaint to Thomas Cook. I normally take a small bag as hand luggage but some people seemed to have massive amounts. Hope it calms down a bit before you go.

Should have been up and dressed by now but phone calls have prevented that, nothing urgent though so hopefully will be quieter the rest of the day. Plan is to jump in and have a very quick bath then start and finish the ironing - probably will take some time. Then hope to take dd to uniform shop and then pop into another town to take my library books back. Cant make up my mind whether to go to our holiday home today or tomm....will speak to OH when he's up.

Well best be off now - have a Good day all.

L - ham and egg muffins (if remember to go and get eggs)
D - pan fried salmon with garlic butter new pots and peas.

    Morning! :hello:

Happy anniversary to Mr and Mrs Pen Pen and to Mr and Mrs Snoozer!

Today we have the roofers in to take down one of our chimneys! It isn't used anymore as it used to be part of the old kitchen solid fuel system. It had taken on a worrying lean and although we were assured it was ok we decided to get rid of it to stop the worry! Anyway we are escaping the excitement with a visit to Ikea and then Costco's! By the time we get back it should all be done. I have a shopping list (so I don't miss anything!). Oh hates Ikea so won't be long there!

((((hugs))) to Shez, Lillibet and Ageandjo

See you later (hopefully with tales of all my bargains)

    Catz x

    Good morning all

Well, another grey day, but looking on the bright side... it's dry!

I eventually won the battle with the moss last night, the area is looking so much better now, I wonder what took me so long.

I'm off for my long weekend! Handed over to my relief at 9 so my time is now mine. Off to sainsbury's later to get a big shop. Haven't decided whether to take the OH or not. He gets very grumpy in supermarkets.

Tap-lady - hope you got some more sleep...my dog did that to me as well this morning, but at a slightly more reasonable hour!
