    Morning Taplady!

"I just can't sleep when there are blueberry muffins in the fridge...."

Nah, not really!! OK so there are blueberry muffins downstairs but I often wake up in the middle of the night anyway. I haven't had a muffin though, that would be very naughty.

I think I'll use this time to look for some recipes to use up some lentils I cooked the other night. It'd be silly to chuck them away, but they do need using up ASAP.

The house is like a tale of two cities at the moment - kitchen, sitting-room and bathroom all cleaned and polished to perfection. Bedrooms - utter disaster. Good job they've got doors!!

Can't remember who's doing what at the minute, but I hope everyone is OK. It's Friday, it's the weekend (v.nearly...) hurrah:T!

Goodmorning Taplady & Snowy & all to follow.

It's been a lovely day here. Took the dogs for a walk to blow all the cobwebs away. They have slept most of the afternoon. ;) Made a really easy cake which was yummy so I will post that in the recipe thread after this. I've been steadily going through all my recipes over the years that I've kept thinking they looked good & haven't had the time to try them.

Someone is playing Johnny Cash - Walk the Line full ball atm over and over again.:D Lucky I like the song. It hasn't woken up DH who is still snoring soundly. I found a good website today. You can check it out good one to put in favourites. http://www.google.com/Top/Home/Homemaking/Frugality/

I also found a Prayer which I thought I'd include here.

    A Woman's Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my shape to keep
Please no wrinkles, please no bags
and lift my butt before it sags

Please no age spots, please no grey
and as for my tummy - take it away
Please keep me healthy, keep me young
and thankyou Lord for all you've done.

I should have found it years ago :D my prayers could have been answered by now.

Hope you all have a nice day and ((((((hugs))))) to those who need them.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Sorry to hear you're having a rough time at the mo. :kisses3: Hope today brings more happiness. Is there something that he can take naturally. I mean over the counter that will help him. I don't mean a ton of prunes.:D but like something herbal  that will help with stress.

Trouble is he doesnt realise that he has changed because of tablets and if I make a big deal of him being horrible because he hasnt had the tablets it will become another issue and wont take them at all:confused: It doesnt help that he has hydrocephalous which means it makes him 'difficult' to say the least

    Morning Everyone:hello:

(((hugs)) to ageandjo & anyone else who comes along who needs them.

Well, it's my Mums birthday & my parents are comming for dinner, unfortunatley my house is a total tip so I guess I better have a flylady day myself. How on earth does it get like this? I'm sure I can't be responsible:rotfl: Going to cook Mexican food for dinner as it is Mum's favourite but budget is so shot this month that I'll be eeking out the mince to double it's quanitiy with lentils so that I can get at least one more meal out of it, hopefully 2:D Mexican casserole & spicy spag bol are a great way of using up leftover Mexican food;)

Need to roast a duck this morning ready for Mum to be able to carve it for me later ready for Spud's picnic on sunday & am going to bake a salmon plait at the same time whilst the oven is on, that'll be majority of the food cooked for sunday, just need to prepare salads etc tomorrow evening.

Just wanted to say that although I know I have a big uphill struggle to get back on the OS wagon, I am feeling a lot more positive than I was yesterday. Thanks for all your support, ti's great to have you guys around when feeling down, you really are the business:T:A:T:A:T:A

    Have a good day everyone:j
