Me too - I am hopeless at the first two rounds regarding the sequences - mostly because at 8pm I am nearly ready to go to sleep. Now if it was on in the morning...!

I thought you were talking about the board game that looks like upright draughts!  Sorry    This is the Victoria Coren Mitchell game show?  I love her, but I've never watched the show.  Must do better

Ah, KC - we like the connecting 4 game, too - but, yes, it was the V C-M quiz show:) Do check it out sometime - it's probably my favourite quiz show on TV- a good mix of questions for all abilities and interests:)

We surprised ourselves this week on the sequence rounds and got about 4 or 5 of them quite quickly and before the teams did - we're not normally that good!

Afternoon tea chez greent today DH and I had a voucher for Xmas for tea for 2 from P1glets Pantry, so a postal one. I ordered it last week for delivery today and had decided to do lots of other goodies (there being 6 of us and DH only liking 1 item in the postal box!!) Made mini iced buns/ split buns, scones and lemon scones, mini brownies, roped in DD and she made a lovely lemon and raspberry Victoria sponge and I made coronation chicken, ham & mustard, cucumber, cheese and tomato & turkey and stuffing sandwiches on HM bread (white and brown), sausage rolls (wee ones) and also found a pack of mini millionaires bites in the cupboard (bought in Nov/Dec - oops) and shortbread rounds. Yum!   Not planning on eating much tonight.....!

Small amount of decluttering today - 6 books sold and collected and 3 pairs of school trousers given away Plus a cracked and broken chest style large toy box (bought for DD in 1999 in France - brought back from holiday strapped to the roof bars of the car!) binned (was used as a dressing up box for last 15 years)
