    Well done at standing your ground on this one. Maybe you should have read it first but doesn't change the fact he tried to blatently rip you off.
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    He's also committing an offence if he's charging VAT and not passing it onto the HM Customs & Revenue. Might be worth pointing that out to him - and having a quiet word with the tax office.

    On another note I've just reported a seller I bought an item off for fee avoidance as he charged a pretty heavy wack for postage which didn't bear any resemblance to the price paid or the cost of the packaging.

    I'm led to believe that Ebay are pretty harsh on the fee avoidance front...but then they would be, the greedy !!!!!!s!

    Well just an update.

    I received my memory ram fine with the reduced postage charge. Not in some lead lined box but a padded envelope.:-)

    The seller left me positive feedback so it looks like I have avoided the problems I was fearing.

    My leason has been learned.
    Its better to be late in this life than early in the next one.

    Slow down speed kills.
