santander flexible isa 3.5pc coming off sale

Did anyone else have to make a deposit to open it for the current tax year? i think i've made a woopsie :-S

No I didn't - they just gave me the account details so I could credit it on the 6th - I wanted mine for the new tax year as I have already paid into a different ISA pot this current tax year

did you get 3.5 or 3.2?

3.5. I opened it over the phone on Sunday. Having said that I've yet to receive the paperwork so sofar the rate has only been confirmed to me verbally

If you have online access, the account will appear there, ready for new funds on 6th.

It's the first account I've held with Santander so no I don't yet have on-line access and presume I have to wait for the paperwork in order to set up my on-line banking

Actually I've just had a look at their website - I can register for online banking but I need a card number to do so or I need to call into the branch with alternative ID....which I will probaby have to do as I requested no card with this account.

Santander work off the cards (or abbey did), A&L do not.
If you phone then, should be able to tell you if you need to go to branch-I would doubt that as is the case as account has been opened - you just want net access.

There computers are still down, said I can open an account with them up to 9pm tonight but cant at moment as computers are still down

which number have you been phoning? the one i called said they werent accepting any more apps til the 2nd of April

I rang the one in Stander sites for new ISA 0800 587 2764

They then said they ring me back which they did and they stills said computers are down
