It seems I do not qualify to add the website where you can look up past shows and artists! So just look up Giant gallery and hopefully you'll get directed to the right page!

The website advises when the gallery closes for re-installs- so at least you can plan your trip down to Bournemouth. There is also info on paid events if you so wish to attend. On the website are plenty of resources on arts & crafts along with planned sessions if you so wish to attend.

  • The Russell Cotes Art gallery & Museum in Bournemouth- this is no longer free and costs £8.50 for adults to enter - however it is worth every penny! The RC do promote a free entry day called 'SixpenceDay' where you can choose to donate. Just look up on What's On >> All Events. However, personally I think it is too busy on the free days - I prefer it when you can have the whole villa to yourself!

  • Shaftesbury in Dorset has two free museums: Gold Hill and Shaftesbury Abbey, both well worth a visit.  Apparently I have to be around a little while longer before I can post links which is interesting because I've been registered on this site for several years and the links would have saved a lot of unnecessary typing.  Gold Hill Museum is a local history museum, completely volunteer-run, and offers two children's quizzes as well as plenty of hands-on. Shaftesbury Abbey Museum is a small museum with multi-lingual audio guides and a delightful garden with rare herbs.
  • Hi, please add Rustington Museum to your list - www.rustingtonmuseum.org - we also have FREE activity booklets throughout the year and family crafts in the school holidays, including SEN days
