I've been to all Glasgow's museums and you've missed 3 of them:
- Gallery of Modern Art, in the City Centre
- The Burrell Collection, in Pollok Park
- Provand's Lordship (Glasgow oldest building)
And the new Museum of Transport opening on 21 June will be called Riverside Museum: Scotland's Museum of Transport and Travel0 -
A must for anybody is The Barber Institute of Fine Arts located at the University of Birmingham, Edgbaston, Birmingham. It is free and has an amazing collection of paintings. See their website www barber org uk
It is free, open from 10am to 5pm and also has free lunchtime talks and concerts. It is an amazing hidden gem and their new exhibition 'Court on Canvas: Tennis in Art' has something of interest for everyone.
A great place to go.
