The Mostyn art gallery in Llandudno has free admission.
"Behind an impressive 1901 terra cota façade in the strikingly beautiful seaside town of Llandudno is Wales’ leading gallery of contemporary art – MOSTYN. Topped with a landmark gold spire, in 2010 it completed an expansion in which old and new buidlings are integrated in a stunning design by architect Dominic Williams."

The Royal Cambrian Academy in Conwy also has free admission.

One Museum you've missed out in East Anglia is MILDENHALL & DISTRICT MUSEUM, 6, KING STREET, MILDENHALL, SUFFOLK. Telephone: 01638 716970.
Open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons, it has a fascinating amount of information regarding the surrounding Fenland and Breckland areas, as well as replicas of the famous Mildenhall Treasure, a history of the local airfield and much other memorabilia of the local district. Entry is free, although donations are welcome. Although a small Museum, many first-time visitors are amazed to find how many artefacts we have regarding local history.
