You're right, I don't want to leave here (ever), it's been so motivational. Not too sure I want to run any further than 5kms anyway, so will stay put! We can all check that each other has been out at least a few times a week ;)
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

    Hi
Is your first 5k a Race for Life?

Yes it is! Obviously its not a hard core race or anything, but i'd love to be able to run half of it at least.

Completed week 4 today. Was so hot I didn't think I'd manage but I did! Week 5 starts on Thursday and hoping it won't be so hot in the morning.

I have an iPod touch too and have just been putting it down my sports bra but it's not ideal! I think I will try and find a runners belt to put it in with my phone and keys. A money belt might work too as they are quite close fitting and hopefully wouldn't bounce around too much.

69chick and u01jet4, maybe try a pair of running capri trousers like these if u dont have ones like these? They have a zip pocket at the back that you could put your iPod in and theyre comfy to run in?

Drea - I hope you are feeling better this morning.

Mumto2 - what a fantastic idea your OH has! Love it (Although I still don't dare running in public...)

I did Week 6 Run 2 last night. I dont' think I am ready to do the 25 min run yet, so I will be repeating my attempt at 20 min run - run as long as you possible can, take a few minutes to calm down, and get again. Hopefully, I will manage 25 minutes running in total with just a short break in the middle somewhere. My headache was back after run yesterday (didn't have it for a while, though I was over those), but I am feeling much better this morning.
