Right, hubby has written on the calendar that I'm running tonight, so..... I'm running tonight. Quite warm here today, but by the time he gets home and kids settled it will be 8ish so prob not a problem.

Am thinking positive thoughts about running and can't bottle it twice.

Mum home from hospital today, so all good stuff.

    Will report back later...

Well done everyone, you're all doing really well.

Mumto2 - You can do it!!!!!! If me and Drea can do it, so can you. Now you wouldn't want us to overtake you now would you????:p

I did my Week 8 Run 1 this morning and it was great :j I really thought I'd struggle to do the 28 min but it was ok. It was sooooo sunny at 07:00 this morning, and then the weather went drastically downhill so I'm glad I did it. Also, my feet were rather sore (think its where I've been wearing my fitflops constantly (apart from running!!), so I did momentarily think about skipping today, but figured I'd made enough excuses recently, so was determined to do it. Week 8 Run 2 due on Wednesday. Bring it on!!!!!

Teachergirl - You're doing so well!!!! But the 3 of us are right behind you ;):D

Well done everyone, keep up the good work :)

Week 3, run 1 completed. I hadn't been out since Thursday due to a very busy weekend so the first 90 second run felt hard but I was amazed I managed the 3 minute runs. The 30 minutes seemed to go much quicker than Week 2 - its obviously all in the mind!

Well done everyone - you should all be very proud of what you have achieved.:T

Hey everyone, thought i would join you lot here as i have just today started to "train" for my first 5k run which is on the 4th july. Today i ran about 400metres and had to stop, this is going to be a long process!!

Its funny because i could swim for 5k without stopping, but can i run it? no chance!! Im hoping it gets easier like everyone says it does. Im aiming to run 3 times a week!

    Hi
Is your first 5k a Race for Life?
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Oops - didn't get chance to check in when I got back.

I did it, just a few little breather (10 sec) stops along the way, but it was done. Not my best run, but done.

Hubby has got me written down to run again on Friday night, then on Sunday he's said I can run to the local park/tea shop and he will meet me there with kids! Have done mapmyrun and it's exactly 5kms. It's only 3 wks till my Race for Life, so am going to have to do the distance soon. They do lovely cakes at the cafe and it's downhill at the end - what more incentive could I need.

Gorgeous weather here this morning. Good luck to anyone running today

    Well done :)

I'm no where near the 5km yet, think I'll have to up my pace after I can run for 30 mins. Sounds like a nice day waiting for you after your run ;)

It's really warm here already and I'll be running after work. Bit worried about the heat

Hot here too. Got to make a decision about whether to go or not soon or the tesco lorry will arrive. Stressful morning at work.(not the kids!) could do with letting off some steam. Will see how I feel after hanging out the washing.
well done mumto2 , sammy_girl and Drea we are all nearly there!:D
Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D
