Been for my run, my foot doesn't hurt at all
I don't like Week 7, like Sammy said he ignores us! I'm used to being able to know how long I have left (ish) and I don't think I like not knowing...
It just shows everyone is different, though, as I bet someone somewhere has your Asics and loves themMurphy's No More Pies Club #209

See, isn't it lovely when you have new shoes?!

Definitelyit's weird that my Asics have done me this long but I guess I was never running for any period of time before. It is a shame because they were fine other than the location of their logo :rotfl:
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Well done, Drea - glad the new shoes worked out.
I've just done Wk7, Run 1. Was tougher than Wk6, Run 3, but might be down to having a 4 day gap or running in the morning. I think I'm an evening girl.
Still in awe that I'm running 2 1/2 miles! Woohoo!
Hoping to get out tomorrow night for Run 2 if OH is home in time. My mum is going in hosp for her heart op Tues morning, so might end up not running for a few days.
Keep up the good work everyone! Now proud Mumto3 :j0 -
Hi all...well I have just completed my wk 1 run 1 woo hoo...I feel great too..my ds (8) came along with me which was nice...still don't know how on earth I could ever run for any proper length of time, but the way I see it, even if I got out 3 times a week and did what I just did that would be better than what I have been doing (nowt!!).. I dowloaded the ap which means I run to my own music with the guy telling me when to run walk etc. which I found really goo...
Mumto2 Hope all goes well with your Mums op...you have done great since starting on here and are a real inspiration...
Drea so glad your new shoes are working out....
Happy Sunday all....my mood feels lifted too, so another bonus - just hope I can keep up the motivationStarting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -

Well done! Don't think about how you'll run for any length of time, it just happens (honestly - it's happened to all of us)
Stick with it and let us know how it's going. If it gets tough, it's good to post and then we can all check back to make sure that you did go and do itNow proud Mumto3 :j0 -
Well done 69chick!
I managed Run1 Week 2 this morning despite my husband's best efforts. I had asked him to download Week 2 last night and he downloaded week 9 instead.Good job I spotted it before I left the house!
I found the first two runs much easier but the last two were difficult and 90 seconds seemed very, very long. I am in awe of you all who are running for 20 minutes plus. It seems a long way off for me but I will hang in there.:)

Hi everyone, i'm pretty new to MSE.
i'been reading your posts and they've given me loads of inspiration. I started week 2 today, i couldn't do the last run because I was running along a different route to my my normal one and it was very hilly. one of the 90 secs was all up hill! i nearly collapsed at the top:eek:
ive never run before and ive always envied people that run, so i really hope i make it to week nine.
happy running everyone!!!LBM 04/10:j

I did another run today. I still haven't managed to run 20 min non-stop, but I did 20 minutes: 14min run + 2 walk (got a stitch again!!!) + 6 min run. I am happy with my progress, and apart from stitch, I was happy running.
So, I am going to give it a pass and move on to week 6. I have only been on week 5 for 6 weeks (ok, I haven't been running for all that time...)Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Disappointing run today. I was going to do 2x 8mins but got halfway through the 2nd 8-mins and had to stop. It's TTOTM (sorry if too much info) so I'm blaming that, I just felt like there wasn't any power in my legs.
Saw a couple of other runners out too (went early for a change).I know they've probably been running for years but it still amazes me how fast and far they can run :eek:0
